Yallingup Shearing Shed

Steve is a great showman. I took a group of 50 people and the staff were really helpful and fitted us all in. Everyone was captivated from the beginning and played active roles in the demonstration. I will definitely take people here again.

Great place to buy woolen clothing, prices are surprisingly reasonable. There were some great specials available and the sales person was not at all pushy. Some sheep outside in a pen, for the kids to look at too. Worth a visit.

A bit of fun for the family and friends who want to know about how sheep are sheared and what happens after. Shearing doesn't happen in August though.Feed some sheep in any case and take lotsa pictures! :)

Staff were very friendly and helpful but I was disappointed that nearly all the items were made outside Australia. For the location and the prices I thought they would have had more local content.

Wish they would update the website which says open 7 days, however today found closed. Yes the signage shows closed, but with tourists now visiting, I believe website should also be updated. That way, you don’t have to drive down to find signage now says closed.

Wide range of wool and sheepskin products of high quality. Beautiful setting, sheep to feed and pat, and sheep dog shows a couple of times a day.

Nice little shop. Shearing tools and area open to visit. You can also feed sheep & ram for a dollar.

Loved it, emptied my hubby's bank account.....but won't have cold feet anymore!! Had some fantastic items, styles and colours. Glad we happened across this place

Great place to bring kids to visit an operational sheep shearing shed. You are able to feed the sheep outside the main entrance for a small fee. Very educational even for adults. You get to learn about the process, and also how dogs are used to herd the sheep. Young children also get the chance to bottle feed the lambs after the main presentation.

Beautiful countryside, nice sheep, overpriced store with everything you'd be able to buy in the city. Signage was awesome and we thought we'd be able to buy locally made slippers, socks and all the usual cozy stuff. Emu brand boots, a variety of designer sweaters form other Australian cities (not even WA), overpriced socks, etc. I was on the edge of considering buying some overpriced baby boots, but seeing how the old lady running the store could not possible care less about my presence, I decided it wasn't worth any more of my time and money. If maybe they had some tour or little old loom as a novelty equipment for a stiry, but nah, not recommending. Hoping to support local didn't pay off this time. Sorry guys and girls; honesty is the best policy.
