Can’t recommend this kayaking experience highly enough! Such a great day out when in batemans bay. Awesome wildlife like sting rays, birds, fish - plus the local aboriginal culture. Love to share my thanks with Josh and his team of pro paddlers.

We did the half day sea kayak tour today and it was simply stunning. Started out from a calm bay with pristine water before heading out on the open water. Our guide was AMAZING, so friendly and knowledgable. The scenery was spectacular. You will love the time you spend on the ocean with this crew.Some specific thoughts:- booking was easy and got call and text the day before confirming all details. Start/Finish points vary to make the most of any forecast weather, but the entire coastline is spectacular so it won't matter where you go- the Team at Region X really know their stuff and the local area, they are really professional- the equipment is first class and you're guided through everything you need to know- this tour is REALLY accessible, the kayaks are super easy to use, stable and the team ease you into it so even if you have no experience don't let that put you off. The half day tour was pretty easy, nice stop along the way for a swim, always felt safe and in control, never pushed or hurried. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!Where do I begin? Dave throughly explained how to kayak from beginners to experienced and encouraged a very inclusive vibe/atmosphere from start to end.The morning tea provided was beautifully done by Dave with a lot of time and effort put in. Exploring the beautiful marine coast we had the opportunity to see seals and dolphins along the way.Unfortunately myself and my sister experienced very bad sea sickness, I would encourage people to take medication prior to the experience.Gaz - what a bloke! He never left our side and encouraged us to keep going even though we wanted to give up. Gaz provided us with support and knowledge on how to remain hydrated and ongoing health advice for the rest of the afternoon. Nothing was to hard for him and he went above and beyond to ensure we were ok. A true asset to region x.Even though we were ill, this was such an amazing experience and I couldn’t recommend it more. Highly recommend doing this experience when visiting the Batemans Bay area and hopefully you get these 2 legends as your instructors.

We did the glass bottom kayak tour! Was such a great fun filled morning. We were able see marine life and also kangaroos!Tom and Amy our guides were so lovely and helpful!

Did the pizza tour at Batesman bay, the instructor gave us a really good run through of how everything is at the start so there would be no issues. The kayak provided has a really nice and beginner friendly turning system.The pizza also really good! Had 2 additional staff members taking photos and videos and they were kind enough to upload the video for us to view. Would definitely recommend and do another tour.

Absolutely fantastic first kayaking experience and perfect for the whole family! We had 6 kids with us ranging from 9yrs to 16 with different levels of fitness and we all had a great time. Tom was a terrific guide, calm, informative and funny. It was perfect weather, too. Highly recommend. Thank you, Region X!

Partner and I visited Batman’s bay in Jan with some friends for a week and started with Region X and a pizza sunset tour.This is a great introduction to Batman’s and the Clyde with Josh giving us a great history lesson of the region. The pizza was by far the best I have had ever as was the sunset we experienced at the end of the tour.Loved my experience so much, I took up a training session with Amy the following day (well worth it) and then a half day tour with Josh and the team again before returning to Sydney.The tours are great for beginners to advance and it’s a great way to experience Batemans for sure.

Great experience with a lot of fun. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One staff always guide the group and the other staff always in the end and monitor the safety and give a backup support.

We had the best time on our half day Kayaking tour! Josh and his daughter were so professional and kind. We got to swim with seals and kayak alongside dolphins. The morning tea was more than what we expected with gourmet vegan slice and quality brie cheese and crackers. We loved the fresh fruit as well!An awesome experience was made even cooler by Josh's expertise on the area and a taste of fresh Sea urchin. We would highly recommend everyone to go check out Region X tours and we will definitely be trying another tour next time we are in Batemans bay!
