Staff is rude . And don’t know anything . They turn you away at enquiry and they bimbotically tell you things like “ just google it , I don’t know anything about it , I don’t have any idea about it . They always run late for their appointments. The doctor here will also diagnose you wrongly.

Dr. Alphonse William at Highett Medical has been the most amazing, knowledgeable, kind and nurturing doctor I’ve found here. She never rushes, listens attentively, and she is very experienced and trustworthy. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. I have not had the same satisfaction with other doctors at the practice.

I waited for I hour. Not many people there. I saw the only Doctor available. Asked for a script not knowing that osteomol can be purchased behind the counter at the Chemist. Was given a script for paracetamol which I had not asked for. Charged $80.00. ( I'm on a pension). Also told some time ago I had a smear test. Not enough cells taken. No result. Had not been followed through with.

Not sure why I keep returning here to try different doctors. Not a single one seems to care to provide a positive health experience. Just as an example. I went to see a female doctor today who the website states deals with female health. If I thought I would have an empathic doctor I thought wrong. Told the doctor I was experiencing pain and that a massage therapist found an unusual lump on my chest.. her response was to role her eyes and reluctantly examine me and tell me “not to worry so much” - sorry? If someone tells me (no matter who it is and how unqualified you deem them) that there may be something worth checking out - would you not encourage me to do so or acknowledge that by erring on the side of caution was the better choice as it’s better to be safe then sorry - you’re not even fully bill billed so not sure how it can even be deemed a waste of your time.This is not the only poor experience- I have been to a few doctors there now with similar attitudes- not caring to listen, question and investigate a patients experience and health.Disappointing to say the least.

I have visited Highett Medical Centre for many years, I have always found the staff to be very customer serviced, prompt as well as professional in their roles. What I like is there are so many services under the one umbrella, which is very convenient, when let's face it, we are all very busy and appointments are so quick and convenient..Big thank you to my GP Dr Towie, who is very caring, always on time , as well as professional in his field, always explains procedures as well as answers any questions I may have.Also Sarah is very welcoming, always answers the phone professionally as well as being so helpful and very customer focused. I would never go to any other clinic.Big thank you to everyone working at this great clinic.....

Go see the doctors here. In my personal experience, at least one of them will efficiently show you the door in 15 minutes or less, let his disdain for you as a patient be obvious, disagree with what your other doctor recommended and show you no empathy, even as a long term patient.

place is alright, but nobody ever picks up the phone. you can try multiple times and be on hold for an hour, and you will not speak to anybody. you can wait for an hour or two for your scheduled appointment, which is just poor time management. you used to put up with it when it was bulk-billed, but now paying for an appointment that you usually can't make because the doctor is running that far behind? its just poor service, and makes people feel awful.

This was one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. I have a 1 year old son that as come up with a rash over night, I made an appointment today for 6:00 pm we were told by a very rude Receptionist that we only had 2 people in front of us we sat there while another 4 people went in and waited just on one and a half hours. Then went to pay and they don't take cash we didn't have our card with us and then was told by the very rude lady well I am going to put it down as you refused to pay not even giving us any other payment options. I definitely don't recommend you use this place."

Terrible experience. Doctor who I had booked appointment with decided to finish early for the weekend with no message being left on my phone. Other subsequent patients also arrived with appointments and were told the doctor had finished early for the weekend. They too received no notification. Waited over an hour to be seen by another doctor before leaving without being seen.
