A good place for a casual lunch or dinner. Kids menu and happy to accommodate gluten-free requests.

Staff attentive, large food portions. Would like a more extensive menu. So haven't been for a while.

Seems to have gone a little downhill over the last 5 tears food wise. Steaks are hit and miss (medium rare was very well done for all 3 of us), and +1 hour wait time for meals. Air con still too hot at the back of the restaurant. Queenslander hamburger was a good option.

Tap is literally from the sewer. The amount of Bludgers and Bogans is ridiculous

Food is good, as far as pub food goes. Staff could use some training on how to treat customers tho. A smile and some friendly service goes a long way.

We booked on-line through Whatif for a Friday and Saturday night.Big mistake.The pub is the only night club in town and goes gangbusters from 10:00pm until 2:00am Friday and Saturday night after which the fights started in the street outside and the paper thin walls let us know just who was having sex in adjoining rooms.Our room was at the back above the outside smoking area which was populated with young people drinking and talking loudly. The smoke alarm went off in the room as a consequence at Midnight.We were moved by the duty manager to another room right over the thump, thump of the disco.We got no sleep and left Saturday morning forgoing our paid-up Saturday night booking.At no time when my wife booked or paid online or when we booked in were we advised of the night club. That was left to the duty manager at midnight on Friday night.A booking during the week may be OK, but NEVER EVER on a Friday or Saturday night. EVER.

Huge serves of meals. I shared the ribs meal with a friend, and was quite full.

Ordered the Grilled Butternut Pumpkin" and it didn't have any Pumpkin in it ??? Also didn't have any green apple and the tomatoes weren't Roma as per the description on the menu."

I have had a few steak lunches here at this hotel and they have been great.
