A&A Worm Farm Waste Systems

The idea of the system is great and i could see it working.However i have had nothing but dramas with the tank and pump setups from day 1. I had a structural engineer come out to examine the poly tank. He advised that the tank isn't engineered/designed to take lateral forces therefore should not have been installed underground. Consequently the tank has failed, the side wall buckled in and now cracked causing ground water to flood the tank. The pumps installed with the system cannot keep up with the inrush of water and have now failed as well.After contacting A&A worm farm and discussing the issue, they wanted no part in assisting with repairs or replacement. Constant attempts were made to contact in regards to re-worming and care of the tank, but no response given. Customer service is absolutely shocking. The little communication that was undertaken was very rude and abrupt.Consequently the a&a worm farm system is getting removed this week and replaced by a envircycle system, which is an easy system to manage and the customer service has been leaps and bounds ahead of what was provided by a&a worm farm.Would strongly advise against a purchase through a&a worm farm. Do you home work and shop around as there are plenty of systems available on the market.

We had a system installed last week and very happy with the way it all went from Alex and Liz in the office to the installers that did the job on the ground the property that the worm farm was installed on is in a water catchment area so the rules on what you can and cannot do a very strict but A&A worm farm systems had no problems designing a system to suit my needs. It will be interesting to see over the coming months how the system performsThanks Stephen

Firstly, I must thank the installer you for doing such a wonderful job. The installer was an absolute delight to have on our site, he was courteous, co-operative, accommodating and above all extremely safety conscious. We really appreciated all the help and the professional advice Allan could provide on where to best place the system.We would highly recommend this system to anyone who is looking for an efficient and effective system to treat their household waste. How simple and effective, this system just works. There couldn’t be a simpler way to treat household waste.We have already recommended the system to a number of people we know in similar situations and will continue to do so.Regards Jane

My pump had failed and I ordered a new one through this company. It failed to be delivered and I contacted this company for assistance, their reply was I can't help

Here is an honest review of the A&A Worm Farm waste system after owning it for 6 years.Firstly I'll start with the list of issues we have had with this system.- Tank moved after installation- Tank cracked and leaking after installation which then pumped septic waste into our storm water drains and stank.- Inlet pipe fell into tank- Tank moving caused the pipes leading into the tank to move causing blockages, making the sewerage to back up to the house!!!- Pump replaced after 13months (just out of warranty)- Float switch on a pump had to be replaced- Alarm on sand filter had to be replaced- Sand filter overflowing (pumping septic waste to the surface and over our rear yard and stank). A&A Worm farm Systems refused to inspect the issue, instead informed us to just put more dirt on it. Now a few years on, with the same issue still occuring, they finally came out to inspect it and now want to charge us $3000 to fix it. Emailed them a number of times with no reply.They promote on their website that their systsm doesn't smell (they let ours smell for years). They also say that running costs are $20 per year, we are currently looking at running costs of around $880 per year.Make sure you read the fine print, their 10 year warranty does not cover the pumps, vertical master switches, whirly vents and alarms, which all have a 1 year warranty. The sand filter warranty only covers 6 years and trenches a life expectancy of 6 years. This is all from their information booklet provided after install.Their customer service has been ok at times but we have had times where Alan has refused to speak with my wife as she has pulled him up on certain things and instead of answering the questions has been rude and unhelpful. This company is not all they say they are I will be happy to supply photos, emails etc to support the negative feedback

The company had an an environmental engineers assessment with the site conditions clearly explained before they quoted. After the installation, they tried to charge $1000.00 more than they quoted claiming they had not made enough profit and that it was a difficult installation. They churned up a lot of ground and left mess and a lot of exposed rock after the installation.The system has been failing and the alarm is constantly on. I can’t keep the windows open at night because it is so noisy. After many months requesting service, the company asked for $330 for a callout fee which I paid them .They took money for a call out but refuse to come out until the balance of the thousand dollars that they overcharged and which did not form part of my contract with them is paid. They take advantage of claiming to be the only ones to be able to service the system and offer no after sales service.

We had the new system installed last week, but our house is not finished yet so i cant review the system itself. However the service and installation was fantastic, we have a bit of a difficult block, and with some tree issues we had to rethink some of the trenching onsite at the time. This was no issue for Peter who took it all in his stride.He went to great efforts to get it all installed (which was over 3 days due to our difficult terrain).Liz in the office offered great communication and always ensured we knew when Peter was coming.Looking forward to seeing how the actual system performs.

Thank you Alan , dam and Ev for their professional work to our home waste septic system , we just recently get install and looking forward to this natural way of getting our waste into green . We are very happy with all the process and thank you for this outstanding and efficient work from A&A worm farm , I am glad we have choose this system.Look forward to see this system last forever

I’ve had the system in for over ten years and it has worked perfectly. Just after Christmas the warning light came on, call A&A and they sent out Trent the next day. It was a faulty float that was fixed quickly and professionally. If that’s the only issue I’m over a decade I’m very happy. Much better than a septic tank if you are tossing up either way.

Cannot find the words to say how TOTALLY impressed I was with my installation. Alan was totally professional and went the extra mile to give me a great system. Compliments to the entire A&A team!!!
