We found what we needed. Peastraw for our garden. Added photos of our happy little far back garden. (With 7 bales of peastraw).Lovely ladies running this company. Easy access. Good range of things to purchase. From feed, to farm fresh produce. Gifts for every age group. Lovely clean store. Well layed out. Cute chicks, bantams. Looking forward to future business here.Good place to bring children. And a good place to bring yourself. Family friendly.

We've been going to Keelan for the last 2 years because we love the friendly service we get each time as well as the great product choice.Today I visited to get some supplies and advice for a very sick and sad looking chook in my flock.I was asked excellent questions and provided fantastic advice - within hours my chook is looking happy and healthy again - a huge relief! Thank you!I can't recommend Keelan enough!

Have been a long time customer of Keelan's: Payneham Road, Newton and change of owner; but today experienced rudeness that others have mentioned. A genuine question was met with an extremely abrasive response by the owner. Am trusting a one off otherwise will be seeking my supplies elsewhere. Pity.

Excellent choice, everything you need for all pets, horses, chooks, livestock, etc's wellbeing, great stock levels, even had supplements suitable for my local magpies, great service and knowledge, highly recommend, can even purchase free range eggs

Says they open at 8:30 am both on Google maps and on the door, however I arrived at 8:30 and waited around until 8:50 with no sign of anyone around to open up and no answer on the phone. Opening hours need to be changed to avoid customers wasting their time.

Throughly enjoy coming here! I’ve always enjoyed supporting small businesses and this is a business I’ll continue to support. The lady’s who own and work here are always joyful! Very child friendly. My daughter loves coming here to collect the chicken eggs and play with the day old chickens.
