Perer Hickey misguided/wasted our time. He provided us a contract of sale, stating the vendor accepted our offer. But the next day he advised us that someone else was interested in offering more. I understand that he is looking for the vendor’s best interest. However, it felt unethical to tell us that our first offer would be enough. It’s frustrating to know that I wasted a weekend thinking I was going to secure a property, when I could have spent that time looking for other properties.
