I have stayed at CAC a few times. My son has stayed there as a long term resident. As a hotel visitor, my room was clean, warm, and the beds were comfortable. As a long term resident, CAC was there when we urgently needed a safe long term place for him to stay. For me, it is a clean, safe, and budget friendly option, the staff were great, and I would stay there again.

I stayed a single night but for this purpose this place was good. The location is very close to the CBD making getting around a fairly short trip in a rideshare. The room I got was basic (no TV, no fridge, shared ammenities) but if you just need a bed to sleep on and a roof over your head overnight it's hard to fault for the low price. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

The Wi-Fi was on usable, I wasted nearly an hour of my life, trying to connect to the TV and result was TV doesn’t work on any function. This would be the first hotel I’ve stayed in that has no fridge in the room or air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was mild for the duration of my stay.Bathrooms are communal and not part of the room. This could’ve been clearer on the website. The online booking system failed to let me in after hours, however the staff were there to help. A tidy room with the 1970s feel

For the price it really is great. You just need to know what style accommodation it is. Uni style with shared bathrooms and kitchenette.I stayed in a double bed room with the bathroom directly across the hallway. Bathroom was very clean with excellent hot water pressure.Wifi casting to the TV was patchy. But I needed the sleep anyway. Well located just north of town, close to shops and dining options. Easily found on the road from Sydney.I would happily stay at Canberra Accommodation Centre again if travelling to Canberra.

Overall it was very clean so hats off to all the cleaning staff. But unfortunately all the facilities are old, and in desperate need of renovation. Car parking was great, all the staff were fantastic too, which is another big plus, but it's over priced for the condition of the place. It's basically run down back packer/student style accomodation, so it should be priced accordingly. Thanks for reading✌

Great option for single travelers, has all you would need and handy location. The staff on duty were very helpful and accommodating with our late arrival. If you plan on a long stay just make sure you have some bedding.

Intolerably hot - do not stay here in summer unless you are prepared to overheat or can BYO fan. There is no air conditioning, and windows cannot be fully opened. This is a hostel more than anything. Basic shared bathrooms and kitchen. Room is clean. Smart Tv does not work at all. Overpriced ($100/night) for what it is, but giving 2 stars for cleanliness and location

For a budget stay this was surprisingly comfortable. There are study and cooking facilities downstairs where you can socialise with students and backpackers. The bed was comfortable and clean. While the rooms are quite shabby, for the price they are more than enough. This is definitely a great budget stay.

I recently stayed in Canberra Accommodation Centre. This is the former ANU student accommodation London Circuit. If you don't mind the brutalist architecture, it's OK considering the budget price payed. You have to share the bathroom and showers, but there is a free laundry to use. There is a common kitchen that is quite large. There is also a common room on the ground floor, but this needs more work. Unfortunately for some reason there is a piano there. Random people play tunes on the piano sometimes. While this free music might be entertaining at times, it doesn't help with concentration, especially if you are a student. They also need to install more power points in the common room to make it more student friendly
