Riddells Creek Hotel
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. It has a lovely cosy fire on a cold day. Perfect!

Riddells Creek Hotel
This is a crowd pleaser, especially if you have kids and enjoy watching some sports. The indoor playground, while dated, is still able to occupy the kids well enough for a short while. There's a fireplace and a big TV in the main bar. Food was generous; we both had parmas and pints, which honestly was basic but good.In all it's a great country pub that does the basics right, but I can't say it's a date night sort of place. Expect to pay around $40 - $50 pp for a meal and drinks

We planned a nice birthday lunch here for my husband and when we got there it was closed, internet reads OPEN so off to the Telegraph hotel in Gisborne and what a good find. The service was exceptional the food was delicious the coffee was exactly as I asked for it ,we had a lovely time so thankyou to the riddells creek hotel for being closed

Every meal has been amazing and the staff are all wonderful. The scallops in the entree and the seafood platter have me coming in every week!

Food, service and atmosphere was good. I got the Pork Belly and vegies. When it came out, it was just roast pork without any crackling. It was yum but I wanted Pork Belly, so I wouldn't order this again, knowing what I got.

We used the Function area of the pub and was terrific. 80 guests comfortably fit in the room with space for more along with a stage for bands.

Our dance group of 20+ thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Everyone seemed very please with the quality and quantity of all their meals. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were delivered to the table in a timely manner. Personally I would like to thank the staff for their help with my gluten & fructose intollerances. My meal of a warm chicken salad was spot on, thanks also to the chef, beautifully cooked. We will visit again.

We've been here a few times with the family (usually 12 of us). It's a really good family friendly hotel. The meals are delicious and served fast by genuinely friendly staff. The fire place is lovely and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Parma’s were great, very juicy and well made, chips were super crunchy with a nice soft inside, mushroom gravy was spot on.
