No issue with this garage at all. Competent work, fair price and to good quality & standard. One of the staff even drove me back to my house in the morning when I left my car at the garage for the day. My uber driver (returning me to the garage at the end of the day to get my car) even commented on the reputation of the Mechanic's is in good standing, as they know others that have used the services offered at the site and are returning customers.

I had a typical road worthy performed on my vehicle at AVS mechanical. The mechanic inspecting the car came by a worn bush on my rear shock absorber a long with an oil leak. I found this hard to believe as the suspension had only been replaced 30k prior and was from a quality aftermarket 4*4 manufacturer and an upgrade from the original manufacturers components. I parted ways with the defect list after expressing this only to have a sales attempt to replace with new at the mechanics shop.On closer inspection at home I discovered the shock absorber bush was not the issue but the retaining bolt not even hand tight. This angered me as I could have potentially had a major accident on the road. After tightening the bolt myself and returning to the workshop for a please explain, the mechanic was quick to state he is not allowed to use tooling or even touch the vehicle during his assessment. As if to say I was insinuating he had undone the bolt on the shock absorber while the inspection was preformed. Normally a response from someone with a guilty conscience. If the quality of the mechanics fault finding ability is to only fail someone and incorrectly diagnose to drum up business then you found your match. I will not be returning to this shop and I don't recommend taking your washing machine here let alone your vehicle. I expect I will receive some sort of rebuttal from these comments but all too often these workshops take people for a ride thinking they don't have a basic mechanical apptitute let a lone a brain. Buyers beware.

I used AVS to get my home made trailer D.O.T. inspection, they were very quick and professional including the way I was able to book in , they sent me reminders of the appointment which was great, also the face to face was very friendly and welcoming, good small business feel and service

Have been using AVS Mechanical for a couple years now for all 3 of our cars. Services & Repairs are always carried out promptly and with great care. The crew at AVS Mechanical have always gone up and beyond to give me quality parts at a fantastic price unlike all other mechanics that seem to charge an arm and a leg. I would highly recommend this mechanic no second thought about it!

Straight forward inspection of my car today after coming to WA from VIC. Not sure why other reviews are giving these guys a hard time when they inspect per the WA DoT. No fuss experience and done per communicated timelines. Thanks.
