Incredibly knowledgable, skilled, and patient - so highly recommended! The first time I visited was on a Sunday after I had woken up with a spasming neck and almost unable to to move it - I called out of the blue and Pat was so kind to come in on his weekend. He was able to literally relieve my pain and dramatically improve my range of motion within an hour, as he treats according to evidence-based knowledge of anatomy and physiology - I used to be quite reserved/unsure about physiotherapy with poor past experiences with physiotherapists who would insist on serial sessions but 'hit and miss' results - I've never felt any inkling of 'business' pressure from Pat - he is very patient-centered, understanding, and honest about the plan and limitations of therapy. Also, he is just a very nice and genuine person in general! Pat has helped me for all sorts of injuries in the last year, corrected misalignment that has prevented further injuries - from shoulder, to back, to neck issues. Highly recommended!

I came to see Pat one Sunday after incurring a nasty facet sprain. He immediately identified the issue and put in a plan to get me back on my feet. Pat was very good at managing my expectations around recovery time and conveying the importance of rest and the prescribed exercises. His practice is also a very soothing environment.I have since recommended Pat to my partner and she is also very pleased with her treatment (back and neck). He’s now known as the “Shaman” in our house and we both recommend Patrick to our friends and colleagues in need of a Physio.

Had back pain from a combination of sports and office posture, and Pat was fantastic at treatment. Furthermore he showed me exercises to further help in my rehabilitation and took the time to answer all my questions about my injuries. The pain has diminished following his treatment and I would have no hesitation coming back to him if I needed further help. Highly recommend!

I can’t praise Patrick enough. He is such an amazing Physio with lots of knowledge. He treats his patients with compassion, which i believe is extremely hard to find from most medical professionals. Patrick is helping me with my recovery from debilitating lower back pain. I still have some way to go, but I couldn’t have got to where I am today without the help from Patrick. One day, what had been until then an intermittent and relatively minor but still annoying back pain, suddenly became much more serious. Even walking around the house was painful and frankly, I chose Coogee Bay Physio because it is the closest to where I live and they had a booking available on the next day. But from my lay-person’s description of the symptoms, Pat was able to diagnose the cause of my discomfort and set my expectations about what treatment would be required and how long it might take. Four weeks later (slightly within his initial estimate), the pain has gone, my back feels loose, and I am gradually getting back into my normal routine. I am still taking it easy because I don’t want to undo his good work and to go through that pain again, but I count myself very lucky to have stumbled (almost literally) on such a talented and professional physiotherapist.

Pat is a brilliant physio. He worked with me for three and a half months to fix a lower back injury. Pat was the second physio I had seen for my injury, he was able to see me at short notice, and had eased some of my pain after the first session. I was comfortable trusting his judgement with my treatment plan, as he was always willing to explain and rationalise his choices. Highly recommended!

Pat is an excellent physio and really helped relive the pain I had in my shoulder. Would recommend to anyone. In addition he recommended when he thought he couldn't do much more to save me money. He is very genuine where lots of people in his position could have tried to get me to keep coming in even though he knew his work was more or less done. Thanks mate

Saved me from my neck. Thank god for Pat the physio and Shane the massage therapist. Best treatment for my needs and stopped a bad problem before it got really bad. Thanks guys
