Balloon Joy Flights

We had a great experience from start to finish. This was a rescheduled flight due to poor weather last time for which we had excellent notice to change plans. There was a lot of flexibility rebooking (and I suggest you book directly with them and not through a 3rd company). Beautiful scenery, lovely breakfast and knowledgeable pilot - we are grateful for the super smooth landing too in the slightly windy conditions.

Worst experience everIf you want to enjoy your holiday, DO NOT BOOK this. We went on this ride to enjoy our holiday not to work. We paid 340$ per person and the ride was only around 30/40 minutes. We had to help them set up which was not bad but we had to help them pack up as well which was really difficult. And you must help them. They pointed at us particularly to come and help when we didn’t help them. When I looked for information, these rides are expensive because they require a lot of people to set up and pack up but these people are asking their customers to help them pack up. It’s like you pay someone to work for them. One of us even strained the shoulder. They have to have enough staff to do these kind of work but they depend on the customers to their job. Worst way to do a business. And nowhere in the description have they mentioned how difficult work the people who paid for the flight have to do. Also the plates and glasses they served the breakfast were old and dirty. I do not recommend this to anybody not even my worst enemy. Almost 4 hrs of us wasted!!

Loved everything! Felt we were in safe hands. Great team. Amazing experience. Definitely one for the bucket list. Wonderful champagne breakfast to cap off a perfect morning

What an amazing morning. Up early, picked up on time and taken to our launch site. All instructions very clear - safety first and foremost. It was a beautiful morning crisp, misty, but sunny and just the right amount of wind. We loved our flight over the countryside looking down on fields of canola, the Belubula River, wildlife and domestic animals alike. The mist really gave us an air of quiet serenity. Champagne Breakfast at Montrose House topped off a wonderful experience.

We have been chasing a refund for over 2 weeks now from a balloon flight that was canceled BY THE COMPANY! We have called, left messages and emailed and the only response was “I’ll send it soon” ! Quick to take the money but not to return it. They will now not answer our calls and we are currently out $700 - very disappointed customer

Great experience on a hot air balloon for the first time (balloon setup, flight time, balloon packing away). Very yummy breakfast with good food, good drinks. Educational too. Love some facts and stories shared by Anton Kerr. But the price seems to be more expensive than other places.

Excellent hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience was magical, they really focus on making you feel welcome and comfortable. The Balloon ride itself was out of this world, beautiful weather and a very experienced pilot gave us the best possible experience one could wish for. The breakfast afterwards was delicious and we really appreciated the vegetarian option they prepared for us.Highly recommend Balloon Joy flights and we will definitely be coming back for another go!

Easily a 10-star recommendation. The entire Balloon Joy Flights crew were welcoming and highly experienced, with a wicked sense of humour. Anton Kerr was our man. We had a magical experience - we were fortunate enough to have perfect conditions after recent floods within the past week.We had fun, we shared laughs, but most importantly we felt safe under Anton's expertise. The packing-away of the balloon was half the fun, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. It was a hilarious bonding exercise! We had a fantastic group!After a hearty feed at Tommy's, who made an excellent host at Montrose House, we walked away with memories to last a lifetime. WOW. The entire experience from start to finish was simply breath-taking.

It was a really great experience and beautiful view from above, they were a professional and very warm welcome family. Fresh and delicious breakfast too.
