Kashiwa Japanese Restaurant
One over rated Japanese restaurant.We go for lunch and ordered Wagyu M9 Bento ($33.80)and Salmon Teriyaki Bento ($33.80). The Wagyu is tiny slice and over cook with a bit of vegetables, it should just call Beef and vegetable stir fry! The Salmon Teriyaki Bento is even worst, is raw inside, is impossible to eat with chopsticks but use sharp knife instead. Talk to the staff and he change the Salmon for us, wait for 10 mins with 2 small pieces of very over cook salmon. Is very disappointed to a 4.4 star restaurant.

Really bad. Passive service, a guy didn’t even ask if we’re eating in or having takeaway, we sat but they still packed takeaway in unnecessary plastic + without ginger, wasabi and soy sause. It made us really uncomfortable so we walked out. I wasn’t rude or whatever, there was no reason to serve me this way.One roll was 20$ but it was falling apart and half of it had tempura without a prawn.This restaurant it too expensive for its quality, even seeing poorly made fake plants gives a bad impression.Don’t recommend and will rather go to the city to enjoy better sushi.

Had a lovely lunch. From the outside it’s just downstairs in an apartment block but the inside has a lovely ambience. Service was great and food very tasty. We will definitely be back.

The Kashiwa Restaurant has a lot to offer, from every single time we have been there we haven't been disappointed. Have been back atleast 3 times (twice lunch and once dinner) on separate occasions and could not fault their food. Staff is always usually friendly, atmosphere is calm and peaceful, although the Restaurant is quite small it has never been too much of an issue.Lunch bento boxes have a lot to offer with rice, miso, sushi and a spring roll.Dinner menu offers a similar menu to lunch without bento boxes. And most main meals do not include rice so you will have to order it as a side option.We will continue to go to kashiwa almost weekly as my girlfriend and I have come to absolutely love the food and quality we receive. Would definetly recommend.

What a great place, every time we go there I leave full and happy. The food is brilliant, neatly balanced taste and appealing presentation. The place has a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Bento boxes are not to miss!!! Whole different level of dining.

Had the Sashimi, soft shell crab and yakisoba.Food was cooked to perfection, could not fault it at all and the sashimi was second to none.Definitely worth a visit, very friendly staff that will make you time just that much more enjoyable.

Consistently great! The sushi is beautiful and fresh, lovely staff, indoor outdoor seating. Our go to for Japanese.
