10/10! The service here is amazing. The boys looked after us so well and even surprised me with a birthday desert, bread and butter pudding absolutely delicious. Made my day, highly recommended come here.

So disappointed. Love this venue and wanted to try and book the venue for my engagement party. Had an email response for my enquiry and replied to get the ball rolling and lock things in. Then they dropped off the face of the earth and were uncontactable. Spent 2 weeks sending follow up emails. Even called the venue and they said they would get back to me but again no response. Extremely disappointing customer service. I would strongly advise against trying to organise a function here!

Had a lunch date on Saturday, the foods were fabulous and ofc staffs were so friendly and approachable. Unfortunately, due to personal business, I wasn't able to drink those nice cocktails today, but still worth to visit and enjoy dishes.I'd like to visit again and have dishes with those cocktails ☺️

I love this place! The staff are so friendly, attentive and approachable. The food is so fresh and tasty. The cocktails are on another level, I haven't had a bad one from the menu, so creative and inspiring. Service is always quick and the environment is really nice to either relax outdoors to some good music or indoors near the cool bar. Loved the complimentary anniversary shot. Have been twice now and keep trying to find times to go again and again because it's so enjoyable. ❤️

Really lovely cocktails and a great little bar atmosphere with both outdoor and indoor seating.Food serving till 9 with one or two options for vegans but mostly meat and vegetarian options.

The Charlie is quickly becoming a local favourite for me. The nice atmosphere and friendly attentive staff were very welcoming, as well as food and cocktails were amazing. The mammacita Margharita and Korean fried chicken were a hit and highly recommended, will definitely be coming back for more.

Nice vibe, great decor. The spicy mamacita was delish, as was the carrots and Korean fried chicken. They had run out of fries (!!!!!!!!!) and an ingredient in another cocktail we wanted which was a bit disappointing but these things happen. Great music selection playing in the background too!

Not just a fantastic Cocktail joint, but a banging bistro to boot. Have been to The Charlie a few times for drinks now and there is no doubt they have some of the best cocktails going around Sydney. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I went to have dinner there recently and both the food and service were excellent.The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic about the food and attentive to just the right amount (not overbearing, but always there when you needed). I particularly enjoyed from the food menu the kingfish cevice which had a jalaepeno dressing which perfectly complimented the fish. Also of note was the fried chicken and steak fries were cooked to perfection with perfectly balanced sauces to match.On top of all this it was Jazz night on a Tuesday and there was a live three piece band to keep it interesting. Very cool venue and perfect for a night out with friends or on a date.

According to its website, the Charleston is all about bringing people together in a cosy South Carolina inspired restaurant, we were therefore expecting a mom and pops restaurant, but the vibe was more one of a nightclub, loud music and dim lights. They also offer an extensive cocktails/drinks list (three pages vs one page of food items), which we didn't try because we mainly came for dinner. Service was nice and helpful with explaining the menu, circling back to the comment I made RE-the nightclub vibe, the poor waitress had to shout to be heard as the music was very loud and she had a mask on. I found the the menu choice to be limited and food is thought for sharing, each item on the menu came alone so you'll need to share at least a couple of dishes each. It was all good, but nothing memorable. The only memorable thing was the bill, as the price was definitely too steep for what we ate. They should also change their website as they still advertise the 5 dollar taco deal, which has now been discontinued.
