I bought from this store online first and then decided to take a drive down to Helensburgh to visit the store. Glad I did. Walked away with lots of great stuff. The store is small but very well stocked with great gear. Dave is very knowledgeable and so helpful and can order stuff from his suppliers even if it’s not in the store. I will be returning here to buy my tent once I have saved up for it. Also online experience was awesome with fast postage. Support this store as I doubt you will be disappointed.

I really like the service and product range from Past Outdoors. The stock they hold is all high quality so I wasn't overwhelmed with a massive range of low grade to high grade products, but instead had just a few high end options that are obviously well selected for purpose. The items I purchased arrived quickly and were well packaged with a nice note. Highly recommend.

Great service. Great products. Bought the UL6T and mesh net and have slept +30 days in it so far. The materials are high quality as is the build quality. The size is perfect for me. And it's so light for a tent its size. Highly recommend.

There are many things I love about this store. First, it’s filled with quality gear, tried and tested. Second, it’s a locally run Aussie business, promoting Aussie brands where possible, and third, Dave’s experience in the outdoors is extensive, which leads to advice you can trust. Dave hooked me up with all the things I needed at a great price. No charge for the chat, which was stellar. Thanks Dave!

Dave is a wealth of knowledge and constantly goes above and beyond.The shop itself is like a big kid's candy store and has an amazing selection of stock and variety.

Out of hours, I called the contact number for PAST Outdoors to listen to what ever business operating details etc and was surprised when I received a return call shortly thereafter. Dave the owner called back to clarify what I wanted and how he could help. A few days later I took a walk through the store and was impressed with the layout, quality of stock and again Dave's service! Sure price is a factor but the range of gear, his knowledge and outstanding customer service is the big difference for me. Support small businesses like this. You'll be rewarded.
