Price's Removals & Storage Launceston

Never again! Terribly brutal removalists and ever worse liars. I work for CBM Sustainable Design, we moved offices over Christmas 2022. We had beautiful custom made Tasoak timber and Laminex standing desks, in immaculate condition. When they were moved and reassembled by Price's Removals, they were chipped, scratched, smashed and broken in countless places. They then had the audacity to outright lie and say all the damage was already there. I’ve seen better skill displayed from my kerb side garbage collector. 1/10

Terrible service, so disappointing. We had so much damage to our items during the removal but Price's are wiping their hands clean of any responsibility. Very dishonest operators, now we are left with a repair bill for their careless work.In reply to the owner's response, we have had correspondence from your management and they have essentially lied by saying that the damage was pre-existing when it absolutely was not.

Did not provide satisfactory service. We used this company for our office move and they caused damage to majority of our property that was handled by them. Furthermore, they did not take responsibility for this, and they handled our complaint with absolute carelessness.

Good movers, sometimes takes a bit of time to get hold of them for an update, but none of my stuff was damaged and they were able to accommodate my preferred uplift time. Only delivered a day later than estimated

I strongly recommend that you never use this company services. It’s down right appalling. It took over a month from the date specified to actually get my goods! I had to chase them to see what was happening. I then had items missing after they finally dropped them off and once again I had to chase them to see what was going onOn top of that, they damaged several items and after notifying them, they have tried to deflect any responsibility in their duty of care. It’s now a matter of principle where legal action will be brought against them for there disgusting services and damages to other items which I had not brought up.I will continue to do my upmost in bringing attention to anyone, to avoid this company at all costsI wouldn’t even give this company one star.Absolutely pathetic!

Terrible service!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I went with chess price removals as I had previously had a good experience with them. This experience was disgusting. I had an interstate move from Tas to Vic. Firstly the receptionist was extremely rude. She was abrupt not friendly and did not care about my problems (such as being flexible surrounding my delivery as I am a busy shift worker. She told me too bad you have to cancel work). Whenever she answered the phone she never said her name either and was also rude to my mother. After they had collected my stuff from Tas, they gave me a phone call and said that I owed them an additional 400 + dollars for a few extra boxes and two fans, they said I had two TV's and I only had one! This was not told to me prior to the uplift departure!! Also once my stuff was in Victoria they contracted my move out to another company called Dawsons, which was not told to me either! Their removal guys were rude and made unprofessional comments whilst bringing in my furniture and boxes. I heard them say this is too much s**t and were asking me if some items in their container were mine such as a mattress and rug as they weren't labelled, which meant someone's things are missing. Not to mention they stood outside my front door smoking and flicked their dirty cigarette butts into my garden. Overall I have given you a 1 star rating because that's all I can do. I will be telling all my family and friends as well!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

If you value your posessions don't use this company, as they are dishonest & happy to rip off customers with storage & insurance. No care, no responsibility. My car after being stored at Chess Price is a write off, but Mr Price couldn't care less.

Did not always implement the procedures they had in place but our experience was made good by the cooperative attitude and friendliness of the local staff - especially the moving boys.

Used Prices to move to the mainland. Paid for a container that was our goods only. When it arrived, other goods were in there. We had goods 'go missing', some of which were irreplaceable momentos. Other goods damaged. It took us weeks to resolve issues, had to claim insurance and still Prices didn't apologise for their unprofessional behaviour. DO NOT get your furniture moved by Prices.

They are nice when they want your money, but we they break something its a different story. And they did break a few items.I even watched the delivery guys climb over other peoples boxes, crushing them to get to my boxes.I dont recommend to use their service. If you do, check everything when it is delivered before you signing their collection form. And take your time to do it. They work for you, not the other way around.
