We found this to be a better than average pub.It wasn't busy when we visited.I had the lamb cutlets with veggies (although it came with chips not mash)Suzie had the Maca-barra, a barramundi fillet covered in macadamia crust.Both were tasty and I'd order again.They have a range of $10 cocktails. Ordered a margarita, but it tasted more like a mocktail.View from the front bar street counter was entertaining.

Yummy food! Always get delivery meals which I think are a little pricey but when I dined in the meals were huge so definitely worth eating in! Delicious

Lovely vibe to this local hotel. Decor is old world but fresh. Go look for the 2017 flood level sign near the bar and be surprised! Food was as advertised- pub food done well. Great service, goods ambiance, prices are reasonable. I’ll do a General McCarthy...I will return.

Went in for dinner. Lots of choices on the menu and the meal was very good. Very generous serves and tasty. Lovely decor with great staff behind the bar. Recommend

Monday lunch saw myself and my brother chose the pasta special, at $16 we were expecting something that would make our mouths waterTo our dissapointment we received pasta that you'd expect served at a homeless shelterPesto sauce with a few pieces of bacon, topped with Parmesan. Needless to say we didn't finish our meals,What happened Mary g's?Pretty dissapointing!

Sam is an exceptional waiter. When we arrived the live music though lovely was very loud so we moved to a different table. We found Sam personable, efficient and the highlight of our dining experience. He was professional and nothing was a problem he served us with a smile. Thank you for having a great employee like Sam.

While I certainly miss the nightclub, I'm glad to see this place back and almost in full swing, the food here is also great especially since you can get takeaway!

We had the barrumundi and the chicken schnitzel which were both very nice. We were there when the bingo was on and we enjoyed hearing the songs which were the basis of the bingo game. We would definitely return.

I had pizza special, they gave me a spare garlic bread as complimentary and the cheese cake was superb. Sorry I smashed the cheese cake before a photo. I’m glad I came here to support this place.
