One of the best restaurants here in Sydney.. Went in for the lunch with tge family. Great food and fabulous service. It’s my first time going there as well and was impressed with the decor, very reminiscent of the beloved Syria. Definitely recommending it to all friends and colleagues. Thanks to the lovely staff!

Extraordinary! We were delighted by the authentic Syrian course. Everything we ate was delicious & fresh. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes.Highly recommended restaurants.

Best food I have ever had, period.❤This restaurant embodies the true taste and full experience of Syrian food and Syrian dining.The prices are very reasonable and staff treatment is very professional and respectful.Would definitely recommend it.I went back again after lockdown and eating here is literally what I missed the most. I genuinely think nothing tops the food here❤

Amazing fresh food and variety. Despite the language barrier, owner was most hospitable and welcoming. Cosy yet beautiful decor. Generous portions as we had to get the leftovers to go. Brilliant food and service. Would highly recommend for those that love Syrian/Middle Eastern cuisine.

Excellent food and excellent service. Have eaten here a few times and always happy. Mixed vegetables plate is more than enough to eat and tastes fantastic.

This place feels like you’re visiting someone’s home. The food is so delicious, and the owners are so warm and inviting. I went for the breakfast buffet and I can’t wait to go back and try lunch. Highly recommended!

I eat here every time I go to Sydney. An absolute gem of a restaurant and really reminds me of home.The food is on another level compared to other Middle Eastern cuisines that I have tried in Australia so far.Five stars every time!!!

My second time visiting this restaurant. The food was amazing again, such a bargain too (I'd happily pay more). We got the samke harrah, mixed vegetarian platters, lamb mansaf & Damascus mixed platter, ll for $115. We came on a Sunday for lunch, it was quiet, plenty of space for a big family gathering. We talked to the lovely owner, Talal, for a bit. Despite the language barrier, he conveyed his passion through his food. We really hope trade will pick up for him again, Chef Talal told us that his restaurant still hasn't recovered post-COVID, we'd hate to see it close. Damascus Restaurant is one of the few Syrian restaurants in Sydney and the food really is very good.
