Wallsend Automotive have been my local choice for many years now. They always seem to have a rego inspection spot when I've left it to the last minute.Their advice on a second hand part I'd bought for install was spot on. Yeah, it resulted in a delay waiting for another part but at least I didn't get stuck in the weeds with a breakdown.Highly recommend them for mechanical repair and maintenance.

Skilled mechanics who are great at what they do, and give very honest assessments as to whether mechanical issues need to be addressed immediately or can wait. Customer service is outstanding and prices extremely reasonable. Also willing to go that extra mile for their customers. As a female who knows nothing about cars it is so good to have a mechanic that you can trust.

Great service! The team know their stuff and know what you need. They don't try and gouge you for unnecessary expenses either. All staff are very friendly and clearly industry professionals.

Friendly, experienced, reliable cost effective. I used to go to a “Euro mechanic” for my Mercedes and always here for my wife’s 07 Prado. Having a high level of knowledge but severe back injury in 2012, means I can no longer work on our vehicles. I really like how I can talk about complex issues and get to talk to the mechanic performing the work. Having lost my career due to injury in 2012, money is tight. I’m happy to be able to source parts online, thus make our $ go further. Sometimes these parts are less than 20% of dealership prices and I get them delivered straight to the workshop.Not long ago the Prado hit 300,000 klms so I used this opportunity to replace engine parts, inspect injectors, that way I can be confident that the Prado will not let us down. Above all, they are very honest. Unfortunately we have moved to QLD due to work. If all mechanics were like this team, there would be many happy customers. Be aware sometimes you need to book 2 weeks or more in advance, especially with big jobs.In all my years I have never met such a dedicated team. I doubt I will ever find such a top mechanic workshop team again. It is very difficult to find a business that is fair and doesn’t price gouge.
