Clonmara Country House and Cottages

Old world charm with modern pleasures. Open plan living with a step up sleeping area was the perfect place for my partner and I to enjoy just ourselves. Our cosy but spacious cottage, warmed by a fireplace to snuggle up in front of, had everything we needed and more. If it wasn't for all the wonderful food places in town to explore... We could have just happily stayed inside for the whole three days and cooked meals in the kitchenette or bbq on the balcony that overlooked the farm with animals you are welcomed to interact with. Outside the front door is a private manicured garden for guests with plenty seating to enjoy the serenity or play an oversized game of chess. The bath was important to me which was wonderful and I was so happy about the abundance of my favourite brand shampoo and conditioner. All the little touches are just too many to mention but so appreciated. To name a few, hand written notes, fresh picked flowers and foliage, nice linen and extra pillows and blankets, extra everything. I will be honest I was looking for a box a tissues.We are both so happy.

We stayed in Cottage 5 for a single night and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Great hosts (so nice to walk into a warm cottage with the fireplace on) and super comfortable, well-appointed, and beautifully styled accommodation. Highly recommended if you're visiting gorgeous Port Fairy.

Such a beautiful place. Would highly recommend it to anyone. The garden cottages have so much charm very clean and have everything you need. The garden is wonderful and the alpacas in the field a bonus.Its the little things too like fresh flowers in a vase and a lovely welcoming note that let you know the owners want you to have an enjoyable stay. If you need accommodation in Port Fairy book here. You will not be disappointed.

Loved it! Nice owners, great neighborhood minutes from a picturesque wharf (with excellent restaurants), and a comfortable, spacious room. Still, the highlight has to be the wildlife -- alpacas at the back fence and free-range chickens wandering around.

Lovely grounds, 5 seperate cottages, all detached, very well decorated and clean. Plenty of animals as well, some alpacas, highland cows, a fair few chickens and some huge tress in the courtyard packed with birds. Highly recommended, will definitely be coming back.

Nice place for a getaway. Enjoy the stay, enjoy the alpacas, liked the chalets, loved the garden, but cleanliness can be improved. Overall experience was good. Recommended for people who travel interstate from Adelaide to Melbourne and wanted a rest.

Fantastic location, very well priced, everything was clean and the owners left the heater on before we arrived so the cabin was toasty. TV with Netflix and a great view of the farm (llamas and fluffy cows). Communication from Steve and Anna was great.

The cottages here are absolutely stunning inside and out! Everything about the property feels magical and homey. Inside the cottage, we enjoyed a beautifully decorated space to relax and rest in. 10/10 recommend!
