Location is good.Interiors and ambience is good.Customer care is good.No WiFiI tried saffron rice and fish curry. I didn't like the taste of both. I had to leave half the plate.Mango lussy was good.Complimentary papad was not palatable.I don't know about other dishes.It's relatively costly for me as a tourist from India.

There was a steady flow of local and visiting customers who clearly love the cuisine these proprietors are serving up in downtown Grafton. My friend and I enjoyed our evening meal immensely and the service staff were en pointe. Thank you ladies!!This restaurant is housed in a beautiful sandstone building with really complementary internal fitout. It is worth looking at if you love well preserved examples of historical buildings but to enter you must be able to walk up some external stairs probably 10.

As an Indian myself and well travelled and visiting from England, where we have an extensive selection of authentic Indian cuisine, i was very disappointed with the food here.My daughter was very ill after eating here which added to our disappointment.The food was generally unappealing, rather stereotypical of so called Indian food and lacked any subtleties or any genuine distinguishable regional flavours. I suspect it is geared to the unsuspecting curry lover, who wouldn’t mind as long as it was a curry of sorts.We sampled a selection of the courses and were left in little doubt that this is a restaurant for those customers who don’t know or mind any better than a tandoori.Would suggest that the chef has some serious training in fine dining that is actual Indian food, with subtle flavours rather than curry powders most folk can be in the supermarket.I also suggest that the waitressing staff learn to smile more and be more helpful. I was appalled when the manageress hid from us after i pointed out that the samosa pastry was undercooked and still raw. REALLY!?Needless to say a very disappointing experience overall.

Great Indian food. The chicken Tikka Masala and prawns were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff also!

Portions are great, the specific curry we ordered was so sweet and nice and the naans were huge for little price. Definitely will revisit.

I’m not a lover of Indian food, however, I couldn’t get enough of this delicious food! Service, atmosphere and prices were all great. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Grafton. Highly recommend!!!

2.5 for location, service and 0.5 for food. Being Indian I am extra critic on indian food and taste here is literally ok. Lacks the authentic Indian spicyness. Service is nice building has heritage look so all tick apart from taste.

I tried it while visiting Grafton from Sydney. Good food. The size of the entrees was huge when compared to the portion size in Sydney.The paneer curries were great. The malai kofta was dry and below average.The cheese naan was the most stuffed naan I have ever had.
