I’m interested to know why a name of someone like Jamie Oliver who cares so much about animal welfare gets pay by Tefal to promote the brand which clearly the coating peals from the pans and this happens 3 time already and my concern is that we are cooking food for our kids and they are ingesting it… is this safe?

Around 15 month ago , our family received a large 9 piece plus lids Jamie Oliver tefal cook set, along with some extra frying pans ect. Well we were very excited to have received such expensive products. My initial thought was well we will never have to replace these , they are going to last us for a lifetime . They were used over gas flame , we tried our best to maintain them to the manufacturing instructions, this means never cooking on full heat, I have even heard Jamie Oliver himself on his cooking shows explain to only use 3/4 heat . Our maximum setting when using was 3/4 full or 6-7 out of 10 on the dial. Always using the hotspot technology to our advantage , never putting them through the dishwasher and only using a soft sponge to clean along with plastic and wooden utensils. So you would think that pretty much covers the warranty and life of the non stick products . Well to our surprise it didn't, our pans our now worthless after contacting tefal customer service. We sent photos through and pretty much begged them for replacement only to be told that we had burnt them and this voided the warranty. Well we followed the instructions and I can ashore they were wrong. I would recommend if you choose to buy from the tefal non stick range , to follow my instructions and don't heat there products over half heat on your dial , this will save your pans from burning and voiding the warranty they can not handle 3/4 heat it burns them, also making the use of them for cooking on half heat pretty much pointless . I am actually devastated because we will no longer use them to cook ,we now have to buy a new set only after 15 months usage . We actually gave away our old cooking set that was over 20 years old and still immaculate only costing around $300 .We were also told by customer service that it is extremely safe to consume any of the none stick coating it will not harm you , AAAHHH no thanks I'd rather not have it go into my body especially my 3 year old child's. This is not a rant I am not trying to put there products down , this is a honest review of what you should expect from this product, A very hi priced top end cooking set that I would recommend only using on half heat or less . Also our set being a gift from a passed family member with no proof of purchase didn't help our claim , that I can fully understand . I still give there none stick products a solid 2 out of 5 because if your into slow cooking they are great they hold heat well .

Possibly the worst customer service BEFORE buying a product.I rang the 1300 number enquiring about purchasing the Actifry snack grill accessory as I am ready to purchase the Actifry air fryer. Diverts to India and the person on the other end is extremely hard to understand and then drops off the call. This happened twice.I have now decided I won't be buying the Actifry air fryer.Messaging via Facebook is also useless as the response is to call.

Do not every buy a tefal product, they have the worst customer service for a brand name like them. It has taken 4 phones calls and still can not get a refence number to return a product that is faulty. Absolutely disgusting.

Worst electronic i Ever got. Broken right after 12 month warranty. No service provider in the area, the customer service asks me to ship the steamer to the service provider...what a joke. Cannot believe the big brand like Tefal has such service. Never buy from them. The faulty machine cause damage to my floor board and tipped off the power whenever plug in. Just bought it Jan 2017. And use like once in every two weeks. Don't want to give any star, but I have to , in order to post the bad review. I need let people know.

-------------------DO NOT BUY Tefal-----------Fry pan lasted only 18months. Required Cook4me touch electrical cord. Tefal claimed not to sell it & gave me details for a company that doesn't even stock their products. Had to call Tefal 3x, on two occasions they didn't even answer the phone. Customer service doesn't exist.Best adviceLodge complaint with NSW Fair Trading or your applicable state consumer authority. If enough people complain the company will have to comply and will be added to a complaint register

still have my old tefal steam generator(not working so well now, keep having to shut it down) Old Tefal made in France, new Tefal steam generator 3 months old made in china, guess which one is the better iron, new one is going in the rubbish bin.

Got this machine for my birthday it didn’t come with any recipe book as it said. So I contacted them to let them know May the lady I spoke to was not at all helpful and would not send me the book out that was meant to come with it. So I can’t use it she told me there are recipes in the manual on page 3 but there is nothing at all with recipes. It’s not good to get something that you can’t use nor have the recipe book that was meant to be included.The call sent didn’t answer my call after 1 hr of being on hold.All I wanted to do was use this machine so it’s back in the box ready to go back to Tefal and I won’t be buying another product again of theirs. Due to the lack of care they have for buyers. Thanks for Nothing Tefal !!!

Regardless of how the product performs, the service is totally under my expectation. The pan under 2 years warranty but in less than a year it resulted significantly worse than the initial couple month. The customer relation team suggested me to use an ample amount of cooking oil (never in the form of sprays)'. By means of trying all diff cooking ways
