Fabulous outback pub to stopover on our way to the Flinders Ranges. Very friendly and welcoming barman. Delicious meals at good prices. Highly recommended.

We’ve been staying overnight at the Yunta pub for many years now on our annual trip to Arkaroola, and always look forward to it. It’s a great, no nonsense country pub that offers friendly service along with decent rooms, good food and cold beer. I reckon it would do everyone good to spend a night here!

Great pub meal.Big serves, fantastic prices and so tasty. Pulled in late, was great to park the van and stroll across the road for a wonderful meal and friendly faces.

Stayed here a few times.It’s actually awesome for the experience.Shane the Publican is a legend and his mum is a decent chef.- Meals are huge! You should get a free t-shirt if you finish the steak.- The restaurant can be super busy on certain “local” nights (Tuesday).- Good luck in the pool comp! Shane is a hustler!- Rooms are basic but by outback standards, they are deluxe! Super high ceiling. Windows every room.- Shared amenities are good. Great tea/coffee room with breakfast basics provided (including raisin toast!!!).- Service stations nearby are open 6am.Special thanks for the service from Shane.Most nights I’d get back well after the kitchen closed. I’d phone ahead an order for the boys. Never a hassle. Usually the bar would still be open and it’d still be warm for us.Two cold frothies & chops. Ready to go again!

Publican friendly beer cold and the meals were amazing. Had the chicken schnitzel which was huge with chips and salad. Absolutely beautiful. Whilst waiting for my meal a steak come out for a gentleman at another table The steak hung over both sides of the plate and he said it was cooked to perfection.Couldn't recommend the meals enough.Highly recommended and definitely call in have a beer and a feed and supportthese local outback communities.And great service

In one word terrible, and our whole group felt the same. The owner was very rude on a number of occasions, and we all had to wait 2 hours for our meals, which when arrived, were not great. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked 2 weeks ago and after riding through the back country for 10 hours I arrive on dark to find he has given my accommodation away to someone else.. in the dark I was expected to ride a further 90km to Peterborough... so ridiculous and no honor with this guy. I have posted on all the adventure riding groups and had an overwhelming response of people who will avoid the place in the future with many saying they had planned to co.e through and stay but now they will go to Peterborough and stay at the Peterborough hotel who is an adventure rider

Stopped for lunch between Broken Hill and Port Augusta.Highly recommend stopping. Food and drinks reasonably priced and great service!

Great old pub stop to breakup our trip.Meals were fantastic.The schnitzels were huge omg.Publican was excellent and very attentive to our needs.We stayed in the free camp accross the road.Perfect rest stop.
