Jigsaw Martial Arts

I dropped into this gym for a class and a roll while on holidays. Unfortunately the coach canceled last minute so no class, but an upper belt said we would do open mat. I had been in contact with very friendly people over Facebook, but on arriving the vibe wasn’t very friendly. No one came to greet me or acknowledge my obviously new presence. After some time a lovely woman came in late, she was overflowing with welcoming energy. We had a roll and by this time a few more women had arrived. The mats were full of men, and to be honest, the vibe still wasn’t very nice. I can’t have been the only one of us who notice because one of the women said “let’s go down stairs and have a women’s only roll”Which we did, and it was great.

The Muay Thai Kickboxing classes coached under Tom have been awesome since joining this unique little gem they call Jigsaw. The owners Ben & Jess are very helpful throughout your sessions and the vibe while training is unreal.

I went for a drop in while up in cairns for the weekend. It was a grading day but they were very welcoming. I had some good rolls with the crew there and will definitely drop back in when I'm next in cairns.

Jess and her team are the best in the business! I had all 3 of my boys doing their strength and conditioning! It was amazing to see their progress and their confidence grow!

Ticks all the boxes for me, I get to work out while my daughter does kickboxing. Great family environment and a good place to meet new people. Affordable for everyone.

Awesome gym.Was in a situation where work wouldn't allow me to train regularly. Ben was extremely flexible and accommodating with payments and my personal situation.There is a 10/10 culture and a real sense of community.Quality Jiu jitsu education supported by quality people. I wouldn't be rolling if it wasn't for Jigsaw.Have recommended and will continue to recommend to anyone who is thinking about giving it a go!

My daughter and I have been going for 3 years. Her confidence has grown amazingly with the coaching and support of the Jigsaw family and at 45 I have gone from 102kg down to 85kg and am the fittest I've been since my teens.Awesome crew, fabulous family and Id give 11/10 stars if I could.
