Went to have a mother/son breakfast date at the buffet. They were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. Talked us through where things were as we hadn't been there before. The atmosphere was great, not too loud not to quiet. Very layed back.Now the food - the set out was easy to navigate and kept nice and hot. The quality of the food was great, the variety was great and the taste was great. Overall we had a lovely breakfast.

I dropped into the Wharf Shed for a beer and dips. Seriously if you are going to serve a simple plate of dips and bread, get some flavour into the little pots. The hummus lacked salt, garlic and lemon, leave the onion off and add the above with some olive oil and cumin seed. The crab dip was fresh but again no flavour, add a wedge of lemon for squeezing and some dill fronds. The eggplant oh dear please char over a flame adda quality olive oil, a touch of garlic and a sprinkle of smoked paprika salt to taste. No matter how small a dish you serve please make it delicious. The Carlton Draft superb.

Great views from the restaurant. We had fish and chips and calamari salad. The food was nice. The chips especially as it was really crispy.

Ordinary at best. 2 out of 3 kids burgers were burnt, no chips for any of kids meals (was advised ten minutes after ordering so too late to head somewhere else with 4 kids), salad was mostly old (chef didn’t even cut off brown lettuce ends to hide it). For all that got a $10 discount and a few cans of soft drink. To rub salt into the wounds, every other place on the waterfront was serving chips on our walk back to the car. Definitely stay away from here.

Breakfast buffet is brilliant. $35 for a lot of amazing food. Specifically the juicer to allow you to make some freshly squeezed juices, the waffles and pancakes with a LOT of sauce options (including salted caramel, white chocolate), standard fare for savoury buffet which was all very nice, custom ordered eggs your own way with very quick service, and a very nice coffee which wasn't delayed at all (contrary to other reviews).Barely any criticisms at all, would highly recommend!! Bring an appetite

Food is 100% delicious. Presentation is great. Defo would recommend this resto. Connected with Novotel Geelong so can have room service. They have a breakfast buffet which is a bit pricey at $35.

Waterfront Restaurant & Bar
Five of us ate here over 2 nights in our 4 day stay in Geelong. It was a breath of fresh air to have had dinner in such a nice place. One night we ate outside and on the second night we booked a table inside. We received a real friendly welcome both times and the service the whole evening was faultless. The menu was to our liking and the food was great. Will eat here again next time we stay in Geelong. Well done guys !!!

Delightful dining. Have enjoyed some lovely steaks here including the Tomahawk. Always cooked as asked. There pork belly is lovely.Typically the service is good. Overall a lovely place to dine.
