Gaya Spa

The massage itself was excellent, but the room was cold, their was no ambiance, and because they didn't play any music I could hear the toilet being used next to me, people talking outside, and air conditioning. The face hole in the bed was not well padded, and it actually really hurt to have my face pressed in there. As I said, the massage was great, but the overall experience was not, so I won't be returning.

Greeted at reception by friendly staff. Very quiet comfortable rooms with extra large tables.. great for taller people like myself... The massage was on point.. remedial with the exact amount of pressure i requested. Offered water or tea to complete the service.. i will be returning for sure.. the only down point was your store is not in Gungahlin lol... thanks soo much.

Excellent place to go in a market with plenty of choice and competition. Warm rooms with a relaxing vibe, like it is supposed to be. The caring staff and dedicated owner are the keypoint for me.

My partner and I went for “deep tissue massages” tonight. We were placed in the couples room. One lady came in and started on my partner, 10-15 mins later the other lady came to start my massage. In the first 20 mins of my massage, the lady was applying oil to my back and rubbing her hands up and down. She then proceeded to apply pressure to the back of my neck where her nails dug into me. No other pressure was applied as she proceeded to keep “rubbing my back”. At this point I thought this was normal. I asked the lady to apply more pressure. My partner had asked for the lady to focus on his “lower back” which she started rubbing his neck. My partner ended up saying something about the technique that was being used and that this is not the correct technique. This was all within 30 mins of our 1 hour massage. Both ladies proceeded to leave the room and left me laying on the bed (still undressed) with the door wide open. We were able to get our money back. However we warn anyone of wanting to go to this spa as you will not receive the massage you pay for. You will only receive a nice oily back rub down!!!!

Very good massage center, very professional, Highly recommended, value for money. Most of the times, they are full booked with customers, better to go with prior booking over the phone to avoid any disappointments. Plenty of parking available. Very knowledgeable and caring staff.

It was a horrible experience, I used to go to Gaya for at least 2 years but today I went for an hour session and the masseuse today I got was got no idea about massage, I only had a good oil bath, she almost emptied a bottle of oil on my body, I almost cried to ask her to stop putting the oil anymore, and she didn’t clean the oil also, no pressure, and they charged for remedial massage for an hour, total waste, please think twice before make any booking at Gaya

Massage was ok, but I went for 30 minutes but they finished it in 20 to 25 minutes. Started around 2:05 and finished by 2:26.

Massage was just OK. Prior to the massage I wasn't asked about my preferred massage pressure or any areas for focus or injuries/tender spots to avoid. This is a basic level of care and service that was overlooked. Half way through the massage the masseuse disappeared for approx 10mins - presumably for the bathroom as you could clearly hear the doors, flushing, taps and room spray from the treatment room - not the most relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately this lost time wasn't added onto the end and the massage ended promptly at the scheduled time, and not a minute later. At the end of the massage, when I exited the room, there were no reception staff or sign of my masseuse to say thank you and goodbye so I simply just...left. (payment is taken at the start). You can find better service and massages elsewhere in Canberra.Pros - easy to book and easy parking.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately I can't.I recieved a deep tissue massage from Apple. The massage it self was very good with great amount of pressure and really got most my knots out.I also received a $10 gift voucher from a promotion on at the time of my booking. I'll definitely be using this soon with a few busy intensive work days a head.The biggest let down to this venue was the lack of customer care after the massage. No tea, water or a place to rest after the treatment was offered. Generally this is a must for most people as the massage release toxins into the body and an 1hr+ without water on a 30+ degree day isn't recommended either.
