Portia Apartments Gold Coast

My gf lived in this apartment since inception, and moved out 24months ago leaving the unit as an investment property. Portia is a fantastic facility, with a great location. We loved owning there. Unfortunately the latest building manager has made the last 12 months of ownership in the building difficult.1. Onsite manager delayed a rental agreement notice so that a tenant could close a house purchase. This is fine, the problem is that we as owners were not notified of the agreement. In addition to not communicating the arrangement, the building manager did not look for a new tenant. When the tenant left on short notice with the close of their home, we were left flat footed and it cost a few weeks rent that we as owners were out of pocket.2. The onsite manager is difficult to deal with. She rarely responds to messages with in a few days and she struggles to contact tenants on a landlords behalf. We were finally able to get direct contact with tenants when we asked for direct contact info, as the building manager couldn't be bothered to relay messages.3. Moving out of the location after sale recently, the manager failed to have the lift ready, the pads up or a plan for where trucks can go. She was a complicator" on the day making every step of the move feel last minute or creating new obstacles. A physical summation of our last 12months of investment ownership in the building.Things will turn around at the facility eventually. Here's hoping
