Goodog Positive Dog Training

Barbara and the other trainers were amazing. We enrolled our puppy to build her confidence as she had become quite nervous at around 10 months old. The results were instant, after the first week she was noticeably more confident and was able to manage her fear a lot better. She was so excited to go each week and really enjoyed the course. We had done a lot of training at home but doing this course we noticed huge improvements in her training and obedience as it was in a really great learning environment with the distraction of other dogs, people and a new environment that we wouldn’t have been able to replicate at home. Would highly highly recommend for any teenage dog needing a bit of encouragement, socialisation or just a bit of fun. Will definitely be joining some of the Goodog agility classes in the future!

We very much enjoyed the class and more importantly our lovely rescue dog relished each one - 5 weeks is enough to start the good habits and encourage the training relationship. I really salute the positive reinforcement and gentleness of the methods (thanks Jessie!). I do recommend it for both training and a wonderful experience with our dog.

Just completed another very informative and successful class with Barbara and Mazz, teaching recall to our dog in a class environment. Great information, the dogs enjoyed the exercises and we learned a lot of strategies to enrich our life with our beautiful canine friend.

A massive THANK YOU to Nathan for training our little Obi over the past few weeks. He was absolutely brilliant- so patient and knowledgeable. We know we’ve set Obi up for a great life with the skills he learnt in the puppy course.He will be a goodog for life!

My 2 year old rescue, Notorious, and I did the Goodog Teenage and Rescue course. It was great! Learnt the basics of sit, stay, come, leave it and we're trying to nail loose leash walking and some tricks...with some great progress. Also worked just fine when transferred over to Zoom video for the last few classes during COVID. We were still able to connect with the group and show our weekly progress. Barbara and Renee and the team were very knowledgeable and professional and kept it all very fun and positive.

We had a great time learning new training tips with the Teenage dog course. Izzy, our crazy rescue hound, has come on in leaps and bounds, becoming a calmer girl around other dogs and working hard on her tricks. Thank you so much Barbara and gang xx.

Barbara and her team of trainers are second to none and we could not recommend Goodog Training more! Barbara's knowledge, tips, tricks and support where invaluable throughout the process. We enrolled our 5 month old Staffy in the teenage training as he had not been to puppy training previously. He started his first week unable to concentrate and was very excited and ended our last training session with a still excitable, but much more relaxed and controlled puppy - and we are so thankful! As first time dog-parents, we didn't know what we didn't know when it came to how to train a dog, and we didn't even know where to begin! This course gave us simple, practical advise and knowledge to support us...which is the most important thing. We loved the weekly homework emails, facebook group and videos that we could refer back to during the week after each training session. Barbara and her team have an obvious love and passion for training and we feel very lucky to have experienced their services! I would not hesitate to recommend Goodog Training!Thank you!

I think my dog Murphy has appreciated the training my partner and I got at Barbara's teenage dog classes :) we now know how clever our dog is and that his naughtiness is often coming from his being bored. Not only does he know obedience now like sit, stay, lie down and recall, but we are also learning tricks which help keep his clever brain active and are doing the Monday agility class which again has benefited the relationship between me Murphy and he will often have a big sleep following this, which usually wouldn't happen following a normal walk. I would highly recommend.
