Staff were nice, but food portions were small and the prices are huge, I left still feeling hungry. I wish there were more japanese restaurants on the coast that sold reasonably priced rice bowls and other food.

Very nice food, good quality and tasty. It is a bit expensive for what you get and they mixed up our table with the one next to us. But with that aside, I really like going here with my husband.

Always a fan favourite, we often go here for celebrating or when we have guests.We often order a heap of entrees and drinks and will be lucky to fit in a main. :pKarage, Lotus Root, Edamame, Tempura, Gyoza are all soooo good. We often get the chef specials as well.Desert is a must, the mochi is amazing, so much better than store-bought.Too much good food to choose from!

Dinner and a show; Completely missed the raw egg as it came hurtling towards but, thankfully the floor was there to catch it. Great quality ingredients, clean restaurant and superb fresh beer.

Rang up to make a booking for 6 people at the teppanyaki BBQ, not until April mind you and was promptly told that they only take bookings of 10. What a load of bull. Don’t tell me they couldn’t book other couples or another 4 people. Haven’t tried it, but won’t be now. For those that don’t mind travelling there is an excellent Teppanyaki Japanese at Warner’s bay. And no, you don’t need a minimum number of people and the food and show is fantastic.

So, before I give this review, I want to preface it by saying that it may just be that the meal is done differently than other Teriyaki Chicken bowls I’ve had in the past.Upon arrival, the place was fairly full and the server greeted us but was clearly very busy. We ordered the The Prawn Nanban and a Teryaki Chicken bowl.The Nanban was very tasty and my wife and I very much enjoyed it.Now, to the Chicken Teryaki Bowl…It was presented beautifully… but…If the veggies in the dish are meant to be refrigerator-cold, it was very off putting and not very pleasant with a dish that was meant to be hot. I pointed the cold temperature of the veggies out to the sever and she told us that this was the way it was meant to be. Look, I love a Teryaki bowl. I’ve had a few and none of them have ever had refrigerator-cold veggies. This is the main reason for this review.

Easily one of the best Japanese places on the coast. Ramen and Bento boxes were superb. Staff phenomenal. Will absolutely be returning as soon as possible. Wish I could rate higher.

Had lunch with my family here. The quality of the food here is top notch things we liked-the wagyu fried rice- wagyu bento (great charcoal flavour)- the aburi salmon- the fried prawns- grilled egg plant- cashu ramen with spicy tonkotsu (excellent flavour)Only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the fact that they charge for extra soy sauce, it’s only 15 cents but really takes away from the experience. Why not put the prices of all your dishes up 15 cents no one will notice but customers will be annoyed by having to pay for extra soy sauce.

Seriously overpriced for tasteless, frozen sashimi and entree-sized main courses. Better ramen at franchised outlets. No salads. The only highlight was the Orion on tap. Very disappointing.
