Best Buy Lighting

Bought a great 3 spotlight dimmable fittting with glass cones and glass mounting plate. Purchased on line for pick up at the Canterbury store. Very helpful. Light exceeded my expectation. Recommended.

Purchased a couple of lamps from here, but my order was cancelled because they did not have them, so their website is not up to date with stock levels. Very disappointing.The customer service is also really poor; in my experience when a company isn’t able to fulfil an order, they usually try to reach out to see if they can offer any alternative solutions, but got the feeling from them that offering any sort of assistance was a huge inconvenience.The lamp I ordered is also available in another colour, which they confirmed were in stock, but for some reason, despite being the exact same product except for the colour difference, this other version cost around $100 more; when I enquired about this they skirted my questions and were not very helpful. Their attitude in general in their replies also came across as very rude.The lamp shows it’s available to pick up at the Roselands store, but when asked if I might be able to see it in person they said no as it was online stock only.They do not honour their “best price guarantee” and in trying to support a smaller business, I enquired about whether they could price match other retailers that had a more competitive price even when including shipping; when given this evidence, they still insisted they had the most competitive price.I have worked in customer service, so understand how difficult dealing with people can be, but providing good service makes a huge difference, so I would actually happily pay a little more if I felt like they cared about their customers. Going by other reviews, they do not have a great track record.After this experience I will never buy from here, as they do not live up to their Best Buy name.

Their light selection is actually amazing!!!If ever they don't have a light that your looking for, you can easily request for them to order them which is phenomenal.I loved their customer service!!I have now a decked out room thanks too them!No room is complete with out a light or two!I will be definitely going to them again when i am redecorating my room!

Awful service here if something wrong. One of the led strip lights we bought had a faulty LED. Contacted store to replace. Wanted photos that we emailed to them so they would order replacement. Once in they insisted on us paying for the replacement and refunding with return of faulty one or exchanging instore directly. Would not trust us to return the $27 light. This on top of having to pay electrician to come again and drive back and forwards to store. Don’t bother going here if you don’t want hassle.

Ping is fabulous - I have fitted out 3 homes with lighting from Best Buy and their products and service is above and beyond! Will never buy elsewhere!

We were so impressed by our shopping experience at Best Buy Lighting. The sales assistant who served us was named Ping, and she went out of her way to help us order in the lamp that we wanted. Since the item had been discontinued, it wasn't easy, either.The prices at Best Buy are already attractive, but when things are on special, the discounts can be astounding. Plus they have such a spectacular range of lighting, from traditional to modern to designer... I highly recommend going there to have a look.
