I use several other sites to advertise my tutoring service and my experience with tutorsfield has been very disappointing so far.- I upgraded from the free account to premium account, on the understanding that I can contact the students directly. The fund was deducted instantly. When I found that I could not contact the students, I emailed the admin who replied many hours later, telling me that The premium membership that you paid is different from the chat upgrade. Chat upgrade allows you to share your contact details with students." She suggested a "refund of the premium membership to you so that you can purchase the correct upgrade again." When I asked for more info

What happens to the $25 booking fee paid by the student? Does it transferred to the tutor?

I'm so disappointed with this site. I have messaged not only the site but a few tutors. And not one person has replied. I would not recommend this site. Its just a waste of your time.

It was a scam honestly. Please if you are a tutor, don't ever join this group. The way they conduct their business is quite terrible, using the whole bait and switch strategy. I accidentally clicked on the pay option to see how much it is to unlock the message and correspond to the student inquiries and gone was my $50, which was never mentioned when you sign up with them. I don't ever want anything to do with this company ever again. I just want my money back. So much regrets.

All the information you need to make a decision is clearly presented - one thing that I particularly like is that you can see how popular a tutor is through Tutors Field's unique inclusion of the student chat and booked lesson counter. You can also contact tutors directly through the site, making the whole process less stressful and more efficiently managed!

Had my first student from this website in only one week after registration. Easy to use messenger. It becomes my main source of new students now. I'd recommend it to other tutors.

Tutors Field is a useful site but I'm not thrilled that they changed their service (added fees for booking with students) halfway through my $40 subscription without notifying me beforehand. Tutors Field could improve their service if fees were more transparent before I or other tutors went premium.
