A must for all herding breeds!Dave is a wealth of knowledge - it's awesome to see how passionate he is about working dogs and fulfilling their instincts in safe, appropriate ways.We took our 1.5yr Aussie shepherd and he had an absolute ball! Dave is fantastic at reading the dog in front of him and managing them based on their individual temperament.He shares lots of information on training and dog psychology and how that applies to herding.We'll be back for more classes to see if we can hone Mack into an urban sheep dog!

We took our 2 year old corgi here for the herding beginners day and all of us had a blast! It was great seeing our dog get a chance to use her natural herding instincts and for us to learn a bit of the theory behind dog behaviour and how herding works. Thank you Dave for a great time, we’re looking forward to coming back in the future!

this is a great place to try your dog out with some sheep. Instructors are excellent and my dog and I had great fun and learnt some herding fundamentals

This is a must if you’ve got a dog that has a natural instinct to want to herd. Dave and Geoff know so much about herding breeds and it’s so much more than just letting your dog chase after sheep for an afternoon. We learnt so much about our Koolie, picked up lots of useful training tips and she had a fantastic time putting instinct into practice and learning something new. It’s a good mix of dog behaviour theory and practical time in the pens. These guys love animals and I cannot recommend it highly enough.. 10/10. We’ll be back for the next herding class with our other Koolie too! Double.Trouble :)

Had an awesome day out with Dave & Geoff on their beginners herding day. Got loads of info on what makes working dog breeds tick, how to manage their behaviors and most of all, my dog had heaps of fun!

We are so impressed with Dave and the team. Our 7 month old Border Collie was starting to get a little out of control, as she has all the traits of a typical BC... but to the power of 10!!! We knew she needed an outlet for her abundance of energy and intelligence (and fearlessness) and Diggers Herding was just the tonic!As importantly, it gave us tools we sorely needed on how to handle this particular individual. Lots of people and schools have a “one size fits all” kind of approach to dog training, whereas Dave knows these dogs inside and out and what’s required for each specific personality.Finally, someone who understands OUR particular puppy!He’s a marvel. We’re so impressed and will be booking in for more in the weeks to come.PS - if you’ve tried contacting them and received no response, keep trying.
