Mercure Hotel Tamworth

Once again this hotel never fails to impress me! Supreme customer service with a smile along with spacious modern rooms that are extremely well maintained, this is why when in Tamworth this is always my go to hotel! I can truly say this place puts a lot of hotels in Sydney to shame.

Our stay in Tamworth was brilliant thanks guys, the room was awesome! The welcome gift was a great sight after a day on the road, we appreciated that. Loved the beds, and the pillows. And wow, the birthing suite bathroom was huge. I want one. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We went to the leagues club for dinner one night, meals were pretty good. Breakfast was really nice also. The pool area is excellent. Will be back.

Lovely hotel with great accommodation with plenty to do inside and around the area. Comfortable beds to sleep in. Good deals for the nearby restaurant.

Stayed here on Good Friday with family .. travelling with family to Sydney and since most restaurants are closed, we carried food with us. We booked a 3 bedroom suite with the expectation that there would a kitchenette where we could heat food. Were surprised to find out that this was not the case. Great rooms (and beds) otherwise though.Have to give a shout to to the staff member at reception - Sophie. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable - organised cutlery, heated all the food for us, and brought it to the room as if we had ordered room service. I travel a lot for work, and generally get great service, but have to say this was one of my best experiences in dealing with hotel staff. Thank you Sophie !!

Absolutely disgraceful. Does not honour bookings. I booked in June 2022 for the long weekend in June 2023.Today I received an email stating reference to a phone call I never received and cancellation of my booking.They are cancelling bookings leaving people high and dry.I never received the alleged phone call, when I tried to phone no on answers the phones.I sent an email and received a response at 12:45 telling me to call back before 1pm…… well if they answered their phones I’d be able to call back.We’ve stayed here most years for the last few years and won’t be staying here ever again.Do not bother staying here unless you want to risk having your booking cancelled.

Loved our stay.Very similar to other Mercure hotels so you know exactly what you're getting.Spacious rooms. Modern furnishings.Comfortable bed. Fabulous pillows. Party sized bathroom. Interesting hotel for a mercure. Next to the football field. Outside of the city however on the net it said resturant? Technically true however it was a club that had club meals. Not too bad just wouldn't stay for the for. Room was good.

Still a beautiful hotel to stay at. Big, comfortable rooms, lovely king size bed. Clean, fresh linen (of course).Generous bathroom, good lighting. Relaxing couch and cushions. Certainly gives those city hotels a run for the money.Great option to visit the league club and drinks, delicious dinners, pokies if that’s your thing.Well done

Staff here were spot onRoom was modern and spacious as well as clean bed comfy shower was big but water pressure low really nice place
