Bruno’s Pizza & Cafe

We stopped in to Bruno's and grabbed a pickup pizza en route to Bellingen.Seriously, these pizzas are exceptional!We ordered a 'Ring of Fire' with anchovies- absolutely incredible.Bases are gorgeous- a slight chew factor with a delicate crunch, high quality flour clearly used, cooked to perfection.Ingredients are fresh and crisp, quality pepperoni used, cheese mix is great.A perfect balance of topping quantity vs flavour combo- not minimalist but definitely not overcrowded.Menu is great- 4 seasons as an option!! Classic and too often forgotten.Staff are friendly, prices are very reasonable and the establishment is clean and presentable.It will be very hard to pass Kempsey without popping in again!

I really love the pizza from this place. They are tasty and very filling. The service is quick and very respectful and friendly. I go to this place regularly. I recommend for great tasting pizza.

It would be hard to beat the value of pizzas at Bruno's. Pizzas are authentic and fresh. Country town hospitality and you can either eat in or takeaway. It's a basic pizza place which is essentially a takeaway joint. As a family owned and operated business, they really place emphasis on the quality of the product.I am glad we took a detour on our way south from Coffs Harbour. Highly recommended if you a pizza lover. Unfortunately we didn't try their coffee. They do have a barista machine. Perhaps something for the next trip to this town.

Best pizza I've had and on a completely different level then what you would call your average pizza place. Simple and tasty as well as being very well sized while also well priced. If we lose this place through lack of patronage I will go on hunger strike.

Outstanding Pizza,have tried several,all consistently good.. Had to drive to Port Macquarie for a Real" pizza not anymore..Please support this family business

We tried to order pizza when we arrived in town at 7.30pm, the brochure in the motel said they closed at 8pm so we wanted to place our order straight away and then go and collect it. We phoned twice but each time it went to a recorded message saying to call back, so we drove to the shop to order. We arrived at 7.50pm, only to be told that the kitchen closed at 7.45pm. No exceptions! We explained that we tried to ring and was told they must have been busy (but not busy enough for the kitchen to be still open!) I understand that the kitchen can close earlier than the restaurant closing time but the brochure should state this. The server was quite rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend.

Probably the best pizza in Kempsey as of December 2022 but they are also a bit hit and miss.Sometimes they are seriously good, other times they are just passable, would be nice if they worked on consistency, though staff are helpful and friendly.
