Could not recommend this clinic more.I had a rather unique issue with a crown done 18 months ago which Karim took on himself to resolve. After checking the tooth, he asked if I could come back later that afternoon and he would do all he could to fix the problem as he had other patients to see. I received a call later that afternoon to return and Karim methodically was able to get the tooth right. This meant working back after closing time...I really appreciate the effort made by Karim and the team. Thank you!!

Messy and rushed, I have left the dentist clinic a couple of times with the dental cleaning fluid and toothpaste gunk smeared on my face. It’s really not that hard to not be messy, I will not be attending this clinic again.

I always enjoy coming to see the team at Australian Unity Hughesdale. All the reception staff and nurses are extremely friendly and willing to help. I regularly see the oral health therapist Misa for my check up and cleans and she is incredibly thorough. I see Dr Karim for my more in depth treatment like my root canal and crown, which I couldn’t fault. Both have been extremely caring and helpful towards me!It is so nice and convenient to have all the different services they offer in the one building. I couldn’t recommend the clinic more highly.

I walked in and took an appointment and was assisted with prompt and quick care. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. Systematic, and good management. And finally the dental service is the best. I was treated by Dr Jason. He is so through and understanding. Took his time to do my sitting and ongoing support. He also made sure I payed a very reasonable bill, extremely honest and humble.this was the most amazing happy satisfying dental service. Thank you team. Regards Sal

Our family has been seeing Dr Karim Farag for many years now. My two boys love him- really patient and gentle with them, makes the trip for a check up a breeze. His patient empathy and care is wonderful particular with major work undertaken over many months. The reception staff are all lovely- very welcoming and accommodating of any changes when required. Overall, a great practice, made even better by Dr Farag- we wouldn't see anyone else!

After many consultations with my dentist, Karim, I finally decided to have veneers on 6 of my upper front teeth. Karim’s gentle guidance along the way was very reassuring and I found that his expertise and dedication to his profession is second to none. I am so impressed with the end result I would definitely recommend anyone who is considering any dental treatments to visit Karim at the Hughesdale Clinic. I wish I had done this years ago. I just can’t stop smiling! Thankyou so much Karim.

I had sore tooth and had an appointment and was checked by Dr. Ahmad, he was very professional, explained what was wrong with my tooth and had another appointment to remove the old filling and replace it with new one. On the day, Ahmad did the job in a very professional manner, stress free, no pain, and quick. Highly recommended! He’s the best!

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Jason at Hughesdale dental clinic. My daughter was very anxious about a recent experience at a different dental practice and within minutes Dr Jason eased her concerns and explained everything. He took the time to ensure she understood the problem and what the next steps would be. The clinic staff are also lovely. Thank you.

I needed a root canal procedure done. And as you can imagine, wasn’t particularly looking forward to it.While I won’t be rushing back for another… I actually had a really excellent experience with Ahmad. The professionalism he employs, while also being lighthearted and cracking jokes during the procedure really helped with the anxiety I was feeling before my visits. You’re in good hands (or, his good hands in your mouth?) with Ahmad!

Do not go here. I can’t stress it enough! I had been going to this dentist for a number of years for cleans etc every 6 months and my original dentist Dr Teo was amazing. Then he left and I was moved to Ahmad Al Taher. I spoke with him about a concern for my front tooth and he suggested 4 front crowns and insisted that was the best way forward.Initial appointment to discuss my wishes and reservations given I had 3 healthy teeth and altering them was alarming for me, considering the only invasive treatment I had had previously was for the trauma to my one front tooth, I don't even have any fillings in other teeth. After being talked into it, I was given a quote and paid a deposit.Next was preparation of the teeth and fixture of temp mould while teeth being made in the lab. I was called back a week later to be told a new mould needed to be made as the first was not good enough.Attended the appointment thinking I was getting a mould taken, once in the chair with my mouth open, I was given needles for numbing and more grinding took place for an hour - I was crying throughout as I was NOT told that would be happening and I felt incredibly scared and traumatised. Spoke to Ahmad after and he said he thought the receptionist had told me what needed to occur. Very little compassion.Returned 3 weeks later for crowns to be fitted. At the time I told Ahmad I had concerns about the look and feel of them, he brushed me off. I paid in full.I returned 3 days later to tell him I was not happy and wanted the lab to remake the teeth. I didn't pay almost $8000 to be unhappy and talk with a lisp. Ahmad said he would need to remove the teeth on the spot, prepare my teeth (nubs) again with more grinding and the previously healthy teeth may not survive the process as they had been ground down so much already, may require root canal or removal. I have since been to another dental clinic who have told me my teeth were not prepared properly. I need to have two root canals costing 2k each. I have a chronic abscess which should have been picked up by Ahmad had he done a proper investigation before crowning my teeth. I need to have a lot more invasive treatment by an endontist and then have all 4 re crowned. I can not tell you how much I regret having Australia unity dental and Ahmad in particular, do any of this to my teeth. Do not go here for anything more than a clean. I have complained to the practice manager who basically said oh sorry to hear that. No offer of fixing or reimbursement for any of what I paid to them. Awful follow up, awful service and no care shown what so ever. Just happy to take your money. I’m proceeding with legal action.
