Worst experience would highly recommend driving to Bendigo and avoiding this place altogether

I recently visited the hospital since moving to Heathcote from Melbourne and working with with one of the people I care for. The hospital is very steam lined. The long quiet corodoors and sparkling clean white walls all make this place one of the nicest smaller hospitals I have seen and I have seen a few. The staff here are very friendly and patients are seen quickly, no extra long waiting period. The person I care for requires special podiatry diebetic foot care this place provides that service via a weekly visiting team from Bendigo. The long and short the person I care for was very happy with this new environment she has been introduced to and says she enjoys her visits and services provided are of excellent quality. #LetsGuide

Very bad experience with one of the doctors who has now left. Got me thrown off Bendigo Bases waiting list I’ve been on for two years for a knee replacement. Ignored the hospitals request for x rays. Very upset.

Told they don't take new" patients!!! When is it a criteria you are known to be able to see a public doctor. This seems against medical ethics. Everyone has a right to have medical attention and the clinic itself looked overly staffed with admin - perhaps they should employ more doctors and reduce overheads by having an online booking system."

Responsive after hours - straight through.

I was extremely disappointed after contacting every doctor in Heathcote to be told that I am not urgent enough to see a doctor or make an appointment when I do have a reason to see a doctor 'urgently.' I was told that if I came in the morning I would be waiting until after lunch to see a doctor and to go to Bendigo or Seymour instead. I tried calling again to explain that my reason is urgent but was again told to go to another city. I come to Heathcote every year and would expect that if I did need medical attention that I would be seen to, however, this was not the case.
