Sonas Early Learning & Care Wattle Grove

I would think twice before considering this daycare for your kids!This centre has continued to go down hill rapidly over the past 18 months since the original manager was sent to another Sonas.They are constantly short staffed and have different carers in the centre daily - they have had 5 different managers in the past 12 months.The food options provided for the kids are dismissal and lack nutrition for growing kids that are playing all day, serving fruit twice a day is not sufficient.They fail to provide a duty of care by allowing sick kids to stay in the centre unwell which in turn allows illness to spread.The centre is rarely cleaned and in a disgusting state considering it's a daycare that should be meeting a high standard.Lastly, Management of the centre are unresponsive to concerns and emails - dont bother with owners they are straight out rude!!

I have both of my girls in Sonas Wattle Grove and it is an amazing centre, all the educators are so lovely, Lynne and Katie in particular. They are very good with communicating how my girls are going. My girls love going to this daycare and I would highly recommend them.

I have had 2 of my children at this centre over the past 5 years and they have always been loved and cared for as much as a child can be in a childcare centre. I am confident in leaving my 4 year here every week knowing that he will be happy, nurtured and educated in my absence. The entire team are lovely and they truly want nothing but the best for the kids in their care - I cannot recommend Sonas Wattle Grove enough ❤

My 3.5-yr-old and 1.5-yr-old boys have attended Sonas since 2020 and 2022 respectively. I'll admit there was a period of disruption due to a high turnover of centre managers and staff within a short timeframe, but we've noticed greater stability in the core educators in the past six+ months, more structured learning activities, and my boys have been thriving in the environment. The Centre Manager has really listened to any concerns or queries I've had around my boy's care or development, addressed them promptly and in a way that we've been satisfied with. Her high expectations around child care and educator responsibilities is a good thing, because I know my children are safe, happy and genuinely cared for. Personally, I really love, value and appreciate how the core educators treat my boys, which I see through their interactions at pick-up and drop-off.

We have been with this centre since 2018. In the last 18 months or so there had been a lot of changes in terms of staffing.There was a period of rough times, however in the past 6 months I’m glad to see that they had pulled their socks up. This centre is now well managed and is delivering high quality of cares. Continue the good work!

Sonas is very professionally managed centre with wonderful, friendly staff members. My son loves this place and he developed good social skills and nice friends. Thanks to lovely staff. It was smooth sail through pandemic situation too and must say Sonas managed it very well. I'm happy that we found this place. Highly recommend.

Useless. My wife and I both emailed Sonas Wattle Grove 3-4 weeks ago with a response. And when I called I was told a manager would call me back that same day, still no call back. If they can't even return my email/call, how can I trust them to return my child safely. No thanks
