My four legged friend and I spent 10 days at the Hide and we both enjoyed every minute of it .I loved the peace and serenity while Raison loved playing with gorgeous Mackie in the dam and having a run with her.The Hide is lovely and clean and very cosy and the bed is so comfortable I wish i could bring it home with me .Lisa and Sue are very welcoming and lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble .Raison and I really enjoyed our holiday and hope to return next year .Thank you Lisa and Sue .

Such a great country retreat. So quiet and peaceful in a comfortable and private setting. Great for photography - plenty of birds about & at dawn & dusk, the kangaroos visit the dam at the front of the property. The sunsets are superb! Close to Daylesford & Hepburn for restaurants etc (approx. 10 mins drive). Owners are such lovely helpful people and were happy to answer my many questions about the area & gave great recommendations.

“The Hide” was a beautiful place to stay! The space was cozy, relaxing, and the attention to detail was excellent. We saw many animals in the area including cows, kangaroos, alpacas, and the most friendly dog. We had the best time - thank you for a great experience!

Don't complain or you'll be treated as a liarWe lost an entire nights sleep due to a bashing metal-on-metal sound against the shed where the apartment is housed. It was a nightmare. I complained and was treated like a liar and a fraud because I had the audacity to asked for a refund for that lost night.If you are contemplating staying at this property, ensure there is no wind forecast. And please be courteous to the owners so as not to incur their wrath.
