Recently booked morning transport for a day surgery visit at the Mayo Hospital. Was given a window of 15 minutes for pickup. 5 minutes after close of this window I rang to check they were coming. They said they would check & call me straight back. 10 minutes later (5 minutes after the time that would allow me to arrive at hospital on time) I rang again. They said they couldn't contact the driver. Eventually knocked up a neighbour and begged them to take me (1 hour return trip for them). Booked return trip almost a disaster. The hospital rang to tell them I was ready. They told the nurse they would try to find a driver. 15 minutes later I rang to find out why they needed to find" a driver for a booked trip. They told me they had organised a taxi. Thank you for finally getting me home. I realise this is a volunteer service.Questions -1. Did the morning driver pick up the car?2. If not
