Shambhala Guesthouse Bridgetown
Greatly impressed by 1st overall setup impression. Immaculate, clean, warm homely touch. Elevated view projected a rather relax enjoyment sense, and being spoiled by freshly bake soft crusty bread in the morning. Both Ruth and Rory, are great host, extending not just a stay but a warm charming invitations into their own back space produced. A place looking forward to again.

We had two nights at Shambhala . The entire establishment was everything we hoped for and we enjoyed the warmth of hospitality from the owners, Ruth , Rory and Heather . Nothing was too much trouble for them .Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

My wife and I stayed at Shambhala earlier in the year and enjoyed the tranquility and views. And Rory was a fantastic host.So we came back en masse with friends. You’re never too sure coming back for a second stay but we definitely weren’t disappointed. Gracious hosts Rory and Ruth looked after us impeccably and the new lambs, scenery and tranquility lived up to high expectations. And as a stargazer it’s superb on a clear night.We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay in a beautiful Bridgetown hills. The Guesthouse is exceptionally clean, with beautiful views and surrounding grounds; and quality furnishings. Bridgetown town center is 5 minutes away. Rory is a very welcoming host. Cooked meals are delicious - we felt like part of the family. We'll be back!

A slice of paradise made even more special by our kind and generous hosts. A picturesque, serene setting with very comfortable amenities and thoughtful attention to details. Waking up to beautiful birdsong, looking out at an ever changing view while standing by a welcoming, cosy fire. Freshly baked bread every morning with a varied selection of local preserves. Convivial interactions with hosts and other guests. We stayed for 6 nights, did not want to leave. Perfect place to rest and relax. Thank you Ruth, Rory and Heather. We look forward to our next visit!

Amazingly beautiful spot. Ruth & Rory are most welcoming and make you feel at home. Gorgeous spacious rooms with wonderful views from the balcony. Would happily give 10 stars if we could.

Spent two wonderful nights at a beautiful resort. Hosts Rory and Ruth were so welcoming. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was delicious and cooked to my liking - size was more than ample. Went there for a rest and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Beautiful dining room and lounge - lovely to relax in. Thank you very much Rory and Ruth.

Just spent two nights at Shambala guest house. What a delightful find. Brm was spacious and amenities super clean. We spent both evenings in the main lounge enjoying the log fire. Didn’t want to leave. Thanks to Ruth, Rory and their mum for making us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious too, we have no hesitation in recommending this lovely place for some quiet time and to enjoy the views.
