Shane from Herrings Carpentry was great, easy to deal with, has a can do work ethic, We had a pergola area built approximately 15 x 15 metres square. We had other companies tell us what we wanted can't be done, Shane advised us it could, he organised plans including drawings and permits were also included in the price, He was able to finish in half the time other companies said it would take, Easy to talk to with a sure i can do that attitude, very happy with the end result and love our new outdoor pergola area, highly recommended

I have been using the service of Shane and his crew since 2010. When I wanted to get a roof done for the alfresco area, I have taken quote from multiple businesses and I was so glad that I have finally chosen Herrings Carpentry to get the work done. The work was completed with superior quality and on a very reasonable price. I never looked elsewhere ever since whenever I needed similar services. Recently they helped me to build a brand new pergola at the back of my house and also convertedalfresco area into a room. I showed them some pictures from the internet and they have done it exactly the same way I wanted. I should say they're the best in the west of Melbourne. Because of their workmanship and affordability, they're generally busy all the time, so if your job is not super urgent, they're the right one for you. I highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Herrings carpentry, Shane and his crew are the most professional tradesmen i had engaged to deal with on a substantial project that I had undertaken in my backyard consisting of a huge pergola, decking and a double garage. Shane's experience and professionalism combined with an understanding of what I had envisaged had created a truly wonderful space where the family and I can enjoy our little patch of paradise. I had several quotes from other builders but felt most confident with Herrings. Great job for a good price gave options of timber or steel. Was flexible with design and turned up when arranged.

I had my deck built in April. Shane and his colleague were very professional and they delivered superb workmanship. The project was not elaborate, I just needed work done at the front and alfresco areas of my house. They both managed to finish it within a day and even came by the day after to adjust a few changes I requested. Overall result was excellent, I would definitely recommend.
