King Tide Cafe
Took some friends out for a drive and we ended up dining here. Seating was different to the last time I was there. The view over the marina is always good! We ordered fisherman’s baskets and sliders, along with assorted drinks. We had dessert afterwards. Because we were chatting, we didn’t really notice the long wait. All the meals and drinks were good. I’ve been coming for many years and will do so again. Thank you all!

Went there with my husband without reservation on mother's day, ordered 2 coffee and 1 big breakfast at 09.30am received 2 coffee at 09.50am and at 10.17am our big breakfast arrived... there were busy!! But unforgettable views

Great food!! I stopped in to try out the King Tide Cafe for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Great value for money plus there is a good view from the seating areas if you choose to dine in. The staff were great and I will certain go out of my way to come back one day.

My daughter and her two friends came here yesterday (Dec 27) for breakfast. They were served by a female staff at the cashier / counter who looked to be in her 20s, who was very unfriendly and rude to them. My daughter asked for an açaí bowl. The lady looked annoyed, let out a big sigh, then turned to another staff and said very loudly, “Do we have the stuff for an açaí bowl??” . She then faced my daughter again and told her they didn’t have it. Totally fine, my daughter ordered something else - but why the attitude?? And deliberately talking to the other staff so loudly, trying to make a point - very unprofessional. Did she not like serving three 15-yr-olds? I must add that the girls are all very polite, and know how to order and behave at restaurants, and are always respectful. Her two friends got the same unfriendly, curt treatment from this lady. One friend commented that she was scary.Anyway. The girls had their breakfast and left. A few hours later they came back to the restaurant to get sorbet. Again, served by the same lady and again, same bad attitude. She hardly let them finish asking her anything before snapping at them “$5.” The girls asked something else and she just snapped again “$5”. If you don’t like serving customers, please don’t work at the front-of-house of a restaurant. You are giving the restaurant and other staff a bad name. Even if you despise your job, please don’t take it out on some young girls.By the way, a different lady who brought the girls their food was GREAT. She was friendly and very lovely, said the girls. I just want to thank this lady for making at least a part of the girls’ experience a good one.

King tide Cafe was a last minute brunch decision. Reasonably easy to find.I had fish cocktail amd chips, it wasn't anything to write home about as the batter on the fish was plain and the chips were plain and unsalted. The chocolate shake wasn't to bad but if it were colder would have been perfect.All and all nothing fancy and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again but I certainly wouldn't avoid it if I were hungry as the service was good and with a little added sauce and salt changes alot.

Fish tacos, prawns and oysters, salad, jaffle fries. Grilled flathead. Can't fault anything. All delicious and fresh. Friday lunch a great day with that river view

Absolutely loved the placed. Me and my friend were on our way back to Sydney and decided to stop at Brooklyn to get some coffee. We were walking around the area and saw this cafe. The waterfront view from this cafe and the atmosphere of this place felt really relaxing that we decided to have our lunch here. The coffee was brilliant. The service was quick and amazing. The food was very good and it tasted very fresh. And I wouldn't say that the prices were expensive but it rather matched the portion sizes and taste of the food. Will definitely recommend to anyone driving to Brooklyn or past it.

It's not a bad option, especially if you're out here this far from Sydney city. Fresh seafood, by the marina, at a very reasonable price point. We visited here for a quick lunch after our riverboat postman trip. 1 extra AUD per bottle of BYOB, add a few fish and chips, and you have yourself a great meal, before heading back or onto your next activity.
