Spur of the moment idea, rang to hire 2 kayaks and friendly owner greeted us straight away. He made sure we were OK with our craft and told us to relax and have a good time. 2 hours was enough time to cover a large area, spot stingrays & schools of fish. We had a great time and will do this again for sure.

One of the best ways to experience the Byron shire. Brunswick is an absolute gem and the river divine. Brunswick buccaneers have all the equipment you need , from kayaks to paddle boards SUP, motor boats and barbecue boats for a whole group. As a local , I’ve been on all of them on different occasions.When hosting a visitor , coming to Ilan’s is a must !

I had some an amazing time! Highly recommend just grabbing a kayak for the day bringing a picnic and going to explore for the day! I booked half a day but could have easily gone all day!! Easy pick up and drop off and lovely staff!

Pros.Good service, great place to go canoeing. Very peaceful.Cons.As the owner wasn’t currently at the place we called the number stated, we were told 15minutes and he’d be there. Arrived 45minutes after telling us 15....

I've had better service from vodaphone out the back of Billinudgel. Disinterested and flaky staff who lost my stuff while I was out paddling. Would have been better off leaving everything with the intoxicated dude in the park.

Thank you to our guide Col who took us for a very peacefull serene and informative kayak down the Brunswick River through the mangroves. Jumping out of the kayak for a swim on the way back was a truly memorable moment.
