The Big Ant
Designed by Pro Hart in 1980. Well worth a look. Just near the RV dump point opposite the tourist information centre.

The big ant was interesting. Watch out for the little ones though. They seem to view the large one as a god and will swarm over anyone not moving around.Make sure to visit the Information Center and purchase your own mini god.

The Big Ant
Not necessarily a must-see, but worth a visit if you're exploring the area or are more into Art. This was designed by Pro Hart in 1980, and is very close to the Visitor Information Centre and nearby mining equipment. Parking is plentiful nearby.

Definitely a must see. Its a massive ant. The ant however isn't real! I recommend Kates Bacon and eggs from the cafe. Very special place

If you’re in Broken Hill then might as well visit the Big Ant. Following in the tradition of Australia’s ‘big things’ it’s a good one to tick off the list. The ant is a bit hidden by all the trees and doesn’t stand out as much as the Big Banana or Giant Prawn.It’s located next to the visitor’s centre and there is a parking lot next to the sculpture.

Great little spot to stop and stretch the legs, interesting for both adults and children. Visitors centre and a Gloria Jean's just across the road.

Is what it says, but don't let it bite ya, this and the big bench would really make your day, I recommend kate's coffee from the nearby cafe
