Had my 4wd in to sort out 2 issues, fixed one issue but charged me $200 to throw it on there computer to diagnose the 2nd issue came back with nothing. Told me to unplug my throttle control (did nothing) the so took it upon myself to try and fix it and well it was easily fixed and cost less than 100$. You’d imagine they would be able to tell me if a filter needed changing instead of charging $200 and not fixing the problem... really just got a I don’t really care kinda vibe which is fine but won’t be going there again. Owners weren’t rude or anything just didn’t seem to care to much which was kinda frustrating when your spending in excess of $700 at there shop and not getting 100% satisfaction.

Graeme was amazing and looked after my Jeep Patriot’s drivetrain issue with ease. His knowledge of 4WDs is exceptional with so much experience and passion. Highly recommended, one of the most professional mechanics I’ve met and a really good bloke to deal with. Couldn’t have asked for more, he even let me see The HULK = absolute beast!Thanks again to the team down at Rocky 4x4 Mechanix, you were the highlight of my day.

Needed a clutch put in and Graham hooked in and had it done straight away, very happy with the service very fast and friendly and good price, will be definitely going back for other work and recommending to friends.

I'm very grateful for Graeme and his team for helping me out. On a Friday afternoon when my Landrover decided to go into limp mode 2 days before driving to Brisbane, they were the only place willing and able to help. Graeme was able to promptly rectify the problem to enable me to complete the long 8 hour drive as planned. Thank you for your help.

Had a service booked in the morning (no specific time booked was told just drop it in first thing) arrived at about 8am. The Mechanic came out yelling and carrying on saying I was late, snatched the key and slammed the door. I asked for the key back and left. Not really keen to let someone with such anger issues over a minor thing work on my car. Have used in the past paying big money for servicing. On this occasion it was great to see the true level of professionalism with their customers. Who knows what happens behind closed doors while working on your pride and joy. Would not advise going here.

Top mechanical work, very good price and they even gave the ute a quick wash

My ranger put it self into limp home mode just outside yamba while moving from airlie beach to Bundabergsensor issue but the boys at rocky 4x4 helped me out majorly stayed back after hours till I could get it towed there and found which sensor was playing up and got me back on the road. Can’t recommend these guys enough!Thanks again

Dropped a Rover off that had some engine issues in August and after 5 months of lazy excuses (covid, labour etc.) They came back with a theory of what it might be. I got pretty sick of waiting and having to harass them for updates so I decided to take it elsewhere. As soon as the owner heard that he threatened to start charging me $30 per day for storage fees.5 months and 2 grand in diagnostic fees later all I got was a vehicle still not working. If that was my only vehicle i would have been screwed. They seem poorly managed, take on too much work and will take your money regardless of the situation they put you in.Stay away if you value your time and money.

Graeme at Rocky 4x4 went above and beyond to get us in when we had an issue in the middle of our holiday. He was extremely understanding when we had parts issues on our end, and went the extra mile in helping us understand the issue. His knowledge and service is unmatched, especially in such a trying time like this. We would give 10 stars if we could! Thanks again to Graeme and his team.
