Purple Pub Brolga Palms Motel
An iconic QLD pub that we travelled a long way to see. The woman behind the bar was the rudest person that we have encountered on our trip so far. She clearly didn’t want to be there, snapped at us, threw things and was just plain rude. We left and walked around the corner to the Albion Hotel where the welcome was great and the service consistent with a business that lives on tourism. Take a photo of the Purple Pub and go to the Albion for a beer.

Tidy, clean. Great historical significance and shows historical pictures and information. Everyone friendly, new bar person is great. Kitchen needs some work but they just lost their chef so the fill in is ok. Nice outdoor dining area.

Me and my family had a great time. Awesome food, well priced. Great bar staff and very friendly.Felt very welcomed. Music out the back was great the kids had fun selecting their music. Will visit again. Thanks

Looking forward to Sunday roast dinner....staff were surprised we wanted to order it as not available and they weren't even aware of their Web page promoting it! Went to Albion Hotel instead.

Not as good as last visit a few years ago. Hamburgers not that special, $12 for ordinary breadroll, 6 out 10. Fish and chips and that's all!? Again $12, 1 piece of fish and more soggy chips than crispy, comparison to Gregory Downs pub, none! $15 at Gregory for 2 pieces of fish, crispy tasty chips plus fresh salad!

Unfortunately, this pub caters for the gambling locals. iI’s only real claim to fame is its colour. Very small front bar, but large garden area.

We were so excited when we booked our few days stay at the iconic purple pub, that is until we entered our room. It was out back away from the pub, old, musky Donga but did have a nice verandah if you didn't mind smoke filled air.The pub it's self was struggling to reach iconic. Just a really good gimmick with purple paint.We waited over an hour in the beer garden resteraunt for our food. They lost our order, so had to burn something up real quick before we did the walk off.
