Pretty expensive, sells for almost private prescription price for a medication supposedly at PBS concession price. The staff are anti-maskers and wear their mask consistently around their chins which you can see from other reviews. This is also something the owner is aware of and allows to continue to happen illegally

Poor form Amcal Toorak!!You would think when it comes to scares items such as RATs, a Chemist would have the social responsibility to limit purchase quantity to one per customer. Not C Wallis & Son of Toorak!! Customers were walking out with bags full while people waiting patiently in line missed out. Seriously??

My friend Carmen told me about how great this pharmacy is and I’ve been in with her a couple of times. You can really see they care about their customers the banter they have with Carms is nice as she can sometimes be on her back in her lounge or MRI sobbing so I think they don’t realise a smile and chat helps her forget that side of pain. I saw how they knew a lot of people by name and would greet them too in that short space of time. Now that I’m moving to Toorak permanently I will be advising people to come here simply to get that service you don’t find in many places these days. It’s a shame there is negative comments about this chemist all by uneducated people who just want to have a sook.The only negative thing I would say is the staffs new blue tops are cheap looking and don’t seem to fit right - white and grey coloured would have looked much nicer. I’m just being a “can’t snap the mouth up” artistI guess you would feel the same about Frances Bacon’s paintings as I do with the blue tops.

Came in at about 6.30-7 on a weeknight to help my Grandmother source medical equipment.. Usually wouldn't have a problem over simple mistakes and late night-rushes by staff but this was not acceptable at all. Was misled over price, patronised and gossiped about vocally to other staff.One of the staff members was so rude, she vocally complained to other staff about how much of an imposition we were being, the other staff looked visibly embarrassed, she then continued to push-back in assembling a medical device for my Grandmother (which took only a few seconds once she stopped complaining about how she couldn't help us).I appreciate that this chemist charges a premium over the newer discount pharmacies on the basis of 'customer service', however I can well and truely say I have never experienced such poor customer service.In response to the owner: this incident occurred last Wednesday, July 31st.

I don’t write reviews often, but this pharmacy is top notch. They are always happy to help with any little thing I need- the staff are very knowledgeable and give great advice. Thanks April and team!

Wallis and Son Chemists is a Melbourne Institution !!This Pharmacy has the most caring and knowledgeable staff who have worked in the business for so many years collectively , as well the most amazing stock that you will find in any Pharmacy in Australia . I love popping into this Pharmacy to get all of medical advice as well as other special gifts for my friends and often myself !!

Fantastic pharmacy! I have been going here for years now since I moved close by. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable whether it be for my medications or their amazing selection of skin care and make up. Also it is hands down the best last minute gift store when you forget you have a birthday to attend. They have beautiful products, perfumes and essentials.

I adore the pharmacists here-they are absolute angels and even my GP is converted and said she will refer patients to them. Being in the medical field I also will “encourage” people to go there. The rest of the staff I adore as well - they remember who you are and very friendly! The prices are a bit higher than say your chemist warehouse but what is a couple of dollars when you can go somewhere where you feel like they genuinely care. Rebecca (pharmacist) actually was the catalyst for me changing my medication regime and I owe a lot to her. Any negative feedback you read are most likely from Toorak “Karen’s” who have too much time on their hands.

Woman behind the counter was using a sheer scarf as a mask. She said she didn't need to wear a proper mask because the staff were practicing social distancing even though she was standing within a metre of another colleague while saying this. She told another customer she can't wear a mask when she has to talk all day and last time she wore a mask it gave her a migraine. All other staff were wearing proper masks.I would think as a healthcare business you would want your staff to be adhering to the current guidelines and not spreading incorrect information about masks - you can easily talk in a mask and there is no evidence to suggest they contribute to migraines.

Went in to get a good quality face sunscreen and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive range. Anna was fantastic and extremely helpful. Will be back!
