Owner is very friendly, Sea front facing cottage. Lots of wildlife here especially penguin coming home in the night.

Nice cosy beach house. The view is pretty amazing and the beach is only a 5 minute walk and stunning. We were really glad we chose to stay there. Bicheno is a cool place too. Not super glamorous but lots of character and heaps to do.

We had the smaller one bedroom apartment in a perfectly peaceful location which suited all our needs for one night. Loved the window seat where we spent time gazing out to the ocean. We also enjoyed the vibe of dinner in Bicheno and a walk later to the beach to see some penguins. Top choice!

Wonderful location, a short walk from the water. Clean beds, towels and massive kitchen and living area with a direct view of the ocean. The manager (Shane) was very helpful and polite in spite of our extraordinary requests (for an iphone charger at 9.45pm!).Toilet might need a bit of an upgrade for certain types of customers, but serves the purpose quite well.I hope to go back there and stay for longer

The location is fantastic, and the close access to the beach to see penguins made this place worth it. The Buildings are demountables with budget furnishings. For example None of the cutlery matches any other piece, The fireplace was ornamental but sufficient heaters were provided to keep us warm. At the end of the day it was a warm bed with WiFi.

1 Bedroom sea view - Glorious view from the living room. Penguins live underneath, we heard them come home to sleep last night. Accommodation is not fancy but good value for location and enough facilities for self catering holiday

We got the Wombat unit. Very spacious and cosy. Beautiful view. Close to Bicheno centre. Price was great too. Communication very well with codes and what I would need to do. And the place is owned which I didn't know by Shane Gould. Highly recommend

Nice accommodation in a great location for the beach. The place is basically like an upgraded shack. Good for the price. Could look a bit better though.

It is a surprise for us for the whole trip. The unit is located in a great place by the beach. The owner is also extremely helpful to share the local information and knowledge with travellers. This hotel will be our go-to accommodation when we come back to Tassie for holiday again.
