Such an insult to serve this Ramen it consisted of one very small slice of pork and a small crab piece the size of a 20cent. It was just noodles and the price was $17.80. Not good value definitely would not recommend this restaurant. Very expensive for the standard of food. When I spoke to the waitress she said that is the way they make the Ramen I think the cook should visit a few Japanese restaurants and check out the quality of food they serve

My favourite restaurant. Probably eaten there close to 100 times now. Great food, lovely staff and a big selection of authentic Japanese beverages. Never disappoints!

Great food! I’ve been coming to Tamagawa for over 10 years. They do the most wonderful chicken Udon. Better than any Udon I’ve had, even in Japan!

Karaage teishoku (crispy chicken) $ 21.80. Very disappointing. Soggy and cold. Mostly made up of green leaf salad :|The Sashimi Teishoku $23.80. Horribly presented, just look at how the fish is cut. Tasted old too!would not recommend. This shouldn't be worth $45!

Food is OK but the service is terrible. I’m a local and it used to be great, premium prices now so it’s worn off me. The restaurant is a bit of a mess at the best of times. Sorry guys, I’m done.

This is the best place to go for fresh sushi rolls that are a great size! They make the sushi fresh so you can be specific about what you want! Highly recommend in the heart of balgowlah! They are also licences for alcohol and have a good asahi!

Relaxed dining, friendly service, food always delicious and freshly prepared. Very popular with locals for eat in or take away. My favourites are the Queenscliff set for lunch, Gyoza, Rainbow Rolls, Tempura, Miso Ramen or the tasty Agedashi Tofu. Some great draught beers on tap or try the Choya plum liqueur after your meal!
