I ordered veg hot and sour soup, but they have added chicken pieces into it.This was my first order with Bawarchi and it is the worst experience.Being a vegetarian, Bawarchi made me compromise on my dietary restriction.They offered me refund but it won't fix the problem. I don't know if Bawarchi will learn from this mistake but I advise people who are ordering from this place to check your order before eating

They don’t serve all menu and also the available item are too similar with tasteless gravy I think they have changed the Cheif.Overall I don’t recommend to eat North Indian food Even though south too.Taking tooo long time to serve the food after order even there are only 3 tables full rest all are empty.

Great food. Love the spice level.Have a vast variety of biryanis to choose from which is a good option. Always like to go back for the biryani they offer.

Poor service. We were one of the only people in the restaurant but the two dishes we ordered took more than an hour. Waiter was incompetent. The chilli chicken we asked for was medium spicy and it was still super spicy which ended up giving me a horrible stomach pain and I’m Indian so this does not make sense. We will not be going here ever again.

Went there tonight, group of 6. No staff in front of house. Had to seat ourselves in empty restaurant. Rang the bell on counter after some time a no one there. Lady comes and asks us to move to another table as the one we were sitting on was reserved, despite no sign on it. Okay, fine, we move to another table in this otherwise empty restaurant, try to order some food and wine. She says they don't serve wine, but only whiskey. Clearly, the bar has plenty of wine bottles visible to everyone. Okay, let that go. The waitress can't even take our food order properly. Just left due to sheer incompetence of wait staff. Shame because the chef there from Chennai is pretty good, however, the front staff are a complete let down.

Malai chicken was one of the best we had in Melbourne but the Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani and masala chicken lollypop were just ok.

This place was bustling when we visited for dinner. Good spacious area in the restaurant. Just take note that car parking might be a pain as there are many restaurants in this vicinity which might lower your chance to get an ideal spot near the restaurant. The food was really good and spicy. Spicy might be burning hot for non spicy eaters. The starters we got were really amazing! The mains were not bad either. We were surprised that they offered 1 free plain naan/roti for every curry ordered and you can 'upgrade' to something like a garlic naan for a very small price. Coming to the briyanis, we ordered the Hyderabadi as we were not sure if the other biryani will be too hot for our likings. Honestly, briyani was good but I didnt found anything extra special. I might try the other briyani next time to determine this. The sweets were good and I must say that the chai was made well and of a decent serving. Overall, we liked the dining experience here and would come back in the near future.

Me and my friend have ordered this ulavacharu goat biryani and hyd goat dum biryani. Both the biryani tastes similar. Then I have mentioned to the customer service representative and she immediately brought me some extra ulavacharu which is really appreciable. As we don't find this Apollo fish in many of the Indian restaurants in Melbourne I ordered that as well but that dish is truly a disaster.

Mutton Biryani is just awesome..5/5Chicken dum biryani is good but had masala chunks .. it seems like just added masala to rice to make it a dum biryani.3/5For a restaurant that big just a single staff.Serving could be way better.2/5Overall experience 3.75/5
